Almost Perfect
March 26, 2011
I bought this jacket because it matched my red Patagonia Pants. I like the style and fit. I bought the medium and I weigh 130 pounds 5'5". The two features I wish it had was built in stretchy wrist warmers that slip over your thumb and something similar to that around the neck as those are the only two spots I get cold. It does have the velcro closures around the wrists but those don't seem as effective with big gloves that I take on and off. Overall I would recommend the jacket.
Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: no built in wrist gaitersoverall great jacket

I had been in the market for a new ski jacket for a while, and after trying on numerous brands, I finally settled on the Patagonia Snowbelle. This jacket has a great fit, it is flattering to a woman's body and is long enough in the back to keep you warm when on the ski lift. I am petite and ordered an xs, it fits perfectly. The arm length is just perfect and I love that the hood is insulated as well as removable. The pockets are great and the pit-vents are easy to pull open when needed. I have worn this skiing in the Catskills and Telluride, and it held up great even in wet conditions. You definitely have to layer underneath as this jacket is warm, but is not windproof in chilly conditions. The mobility in the jacket is great as even when layered, you have excellent freedom of movement. Overall this is a great purchase and for a Patagonia product, a great price. I highly recommend!

This was my first Patagonia purchase, and it was a success. I wanted a warm waterproof ski coat, but couldn't decide between realiable North Face or Patagonia (a friend recommend the latter to me). I decided to go out on a limb and order this jacket because I liked the color and all the amenities. After receiving the jacket, I am pleased with my decision. The natural color is lovely, with the blue accent giving it some color! I am 5'5'', 130 lbs, and this jacket is a touch loose, but when I layer under it, I am sure it will fit perfectly. The arms are a bit long, so I rolled the cuffs up and it looks super cute with the blue lining showing. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this jacket!

love this jacket... but maybe it pills a bit?

so i tried on a ton of jackets at patagonia and i love this jacket... the fit and style of it are very cool. love the storm velcro flap at front. the fabric is really nice... a very subtle herringbone texture, very dark black... not too shiny and very soft. i can wear this in the city or on the slopes. this is super waterproof... have worn it in pouring rain in the city and also snowstorms on the slopes, and the water rolls right off. only worn this about 10 times but starting to notice a bit of pilling on the fabric under my wrists... worried about how this will look long term.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: might be pillingAlready own the Patagonia Insulated Snowbelle Jacket? Tell us your thoughts.

This is a great jacket for being on the slopes all day! It is very warm. There are many pockets to store things while on the slopes. They work well with the snowbelle pants.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great valueExcellent quality and warmth without the bulk!

I purchased this jacket for my teenage daughter! Although she doesn't do much skowboarding, she wanted a jacket that provided warmth without the "bulk." If this is what you're looking for then the Patagonia Insulated Snowbelle is the jacket for you!!! The fabric and construction is of supreme quality! I would definitely recommend this jacket!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, not bulkyNice Fit and Warm

Bought a small (5'5"/~128#) and fit is flattering yet still can layer underneath; a bit shorter waisted than some but definitely long enough to be comfortable and warm. Quite high colar but works well for me as I can't stand to be cold around the neck. Typical Patagonia quality and design; best around in my opinion. Really looking forward to getting a lot of use out of this jacket.

This jacket is well made, warm and shows off a girl's shape. After looking at dozens of ski jackets, I am very happy with this purchase. The only critique is that the sleeves are long for short-armed people like me.
Pros: Great design, Performance, Great valueNice Jacket

As with all things Patagonia, this jacket is well put together and good quality. It is not a super technical coat, not a lot of pockets and zippers, which is good for me. I like this jacket a lot!

Great ski jacket

Great product! I wore it skiing in Tahoe, great fit. I am 5'7" 135lb and am somewhere in the small to med size range- I chose the medium and am happy with the choice. With a layer underneath, it fits great and is warm. I have longer arms and the length is great. It's really comfortable, not too heavy and definitely not bulky. It is well-constructed and seems like it will definitely last.
