Patagonia Skirt
August 25, 2011

I have had this skirt now for a couple of months. I am 5'5" and 110 pounds. The small fit perfectly. The skirt is very airy and cool. It has held up nicely after several washes by not fading or getting piley. I would definately recommend this skirt.

Beautiful skirt
July 25, 2011

I originally bought this skirt just to kick around in. After receiving it and appreciating first hand the comfort, great fit, and ease, I bought 2 more in different colors. It washes and wears, looks fabulous, hits at just the right spot on the thigh and could not be any better! Great alone, as a cover up, for casual or dress! You can wear it on the beach as a cover up, to work, over bike shorts, and it looks and feels great!

Versatile and cute!
October 16, 2011

This skirt can be dressed up with cute flats or down with flip flops. It is great for traveling as it is light-weight and packs small. I usually wear a small in this brand and so I ordered the small and it fits great. I receive compliments every time I wear it. Love it!

Great for summer travel
July 25, 2013

Comfortable and versatile. I have not washed it yet so not sure how it will hold up. It is rather pricey for a skirt made of t-shirt material.

This is a great skirt. It is very versatile and the fabric drapes beautifully. I am 5'6" and approx. 130 pounds and the medium fits well at first after I wash it. It does, however, stretch a bit after you have worn it a while. Not sure I could wear it as a top because I am rather small chested. Hope Patagonia keeps this skirt around so that I can get a different color next summer. If so, I may try a small next time so that I can wear it as a top as well.

Fits mostly true to size but tight in the waist - maybe b/c it's high waisted and fit tight for use as a top? I usually complain of the opposite but will keep this b/c I LOVE the pattern. I wear a 2 or 4 and bought a small. Most pants/skirts run large in the waist if they fit in the hips, but definitely not a problem with the Lithia skirt. Can't go wrong with Patagonia quality.

love this skirt!
May 27, 2010

This skirt is wonderful. I love the feel of the material and it drapes very nicely. I am 5'5" 128 lbs and I ordered the medium. It fits very well as a skirt. It is also nice to have the flexibility to wear it as a top, although I definitely would need a strapless bra underneath to do that as the material doesn't offer much support for larger breasted women such as myself. I am definitely going to order more colors.

June 02, 2012

I love the feel and look of this skirt. I am 5' and 108, and small fits perfectly with length being just above the knee. I was skeptical about using it as halter top but I was pleasantly surprised. Top looks great and flattering. This will be a great piece for the summer!

Comfy skirt
August 11, 2011

I followed the size chart and bought this skirt in a small, but it was too tight. Although it could be that I just like my pants/skirts on the looser side. The medium is great though (5'6" 118lbs), very comfortable.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Great value

Cute, trendy, great fit, and true to size!

September 04, 2011

It's hard to shop for my daughter in college, but she liked this selection enough to ask me to order one in black for her. She likes the versatility of the style and the fabric.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

very nice travel piece
June 29, 2010

This skirt is great. The material is a nice weight-thick enough to cover well, thin enough to be cool and comfortable on a hot day. Great for a trip!

very versatile but stretches out easily
July 21, 2010

I love this skirt, goes with anything, dressed up or down, easy to wear, flattering. My problem with is that it gets baggy within just a day of wearing and sits lower and lower on my hips until I'm hiking it up all the time. After washing, it's great but... Perhaps I should have ordered a small (I'm 5'4" 123 pounds) I didn't want it to be too tight and the medium fit at first.

Super cute with a great print!
April 22, 2010

I am 5'8'' and 135 lb., Bra size 36B - I ordered a small and it fits really well on top as a halter. It is a tad snug as a skirt but the length is great and I plan to keep it and wear it often this summer. I love the option of wearing it different ways - definitely worth the price!

Great little "shkirt"
August 05, 2011

I purchased the skirt for my wife & she loves it. She's not sure which way to wear it; as she said, the skirt looks cute and as a top it looks cute. She's extremely happy with the gift. For those curious about size - Patagonia does tend to run small. I bought the medium for my wife (5'5" & 125 lbs - 3 kids so body conscious). Just FYI.

Pros: Great design

Great skirt!
July 30, 2010

I love this skirt! I am 5 7" and about 130lbs. I bought a size M in the brown sable and it fits perfect and is very comfortable. I am planning in getting it in other colors.

Very cute, and short
October 15, 2011

The Lithia skirt is very cute, however I found it to be a bit short for me to feel comfortable to be active in (playing with my toddlers for example). I also think it would be nice if the fabric had a little stretch to it to help retain it's shape.

Pros: Ease of use, Cons: Wears quickly

I like this skirt/top
March 25, 2010

I am 5'4" and 127 lbs. I bought the small and it fits perfectly. Fits close around the waist and flares out nicely. Just the right length. Not too short, falls just above the knee. As a top it will look great with jeans. It will fall around top of thigh. No support, so a strapless bra would be necessary if you are large busted. I hope it washes nicely because I'm sure I will get a lot of use out of it this summer. I am thinking another color might be nice.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
June 25, 2010

September 19, 2012

This is a great skirt - has the perfect flounce to it. Dresses up easily. Packs well. I should probably stock up on a few more colors before this goes out of stock! Haven't tried to use it as a top so can't speak to the issue of the waistband stretching. A little too short to wear to work, at least in my case.

better skirt than top
September 13, 2011

super cute, love the print. i think it works better as a skirt than top (though i've worn it as a top quite a bit) because it seems to stretch out a bit too easily, which then means you're pulling at your top all day long. i think it could be perfect if it had a bit more spandex....even as a skirt, it sometimes rides up - if it had some spandex, it would hug the hips a bit better, staying in place. otherwise, it's a great piece, particularly when traveling light - it's 2 in 1! great balance between casual and dressy. seems to fit true to size - i'm 5'5", 140lbs, wear a small in patagonia tops and a medium/size 28/6 in bottoms. got both the small and medium - if i was only going to wear it as a skirt, i would have kept the medium, but decided to keep the small instead as it also fit as a skirt and fit better than the medium as a top.

Awesome skirt
September 15, 2013

Love this awesome skirt. The fabric is incredibly comfortable and I get tons on compliments every time I wear it. I can dress it up or wear it casually. The material is like putting on your favorite comfy t-shirt yet it was a pretty floral pattern and has a lovely flow about it when you move. It is my new favorite skirt and I am sure I will wear it through the winter with a pair of tights.

Nice surprise!
June 18, 2011

I bought this as a skirt, not thinking I'd use it as a top. It fits, hangs nicely, falls to a good length on me. Great! But, when I tried it as a top, I had a pleasant surprise. It not only fit and was easy to slip into, but is also quite flattering. I was afraid it would be too full (looking like a maternity top) but it's not. It looks good with jeans or shorts (and of course, as a skirt itself). The fabric is substantial. The color is true to the one on my monitor. I often order a size up in Patagonia, but with this one I bought my normal size.

LOVE IT!
November 30, 2010

I love everything Patagonia makes, so maybe I'm biased, but this skirt is great. It's very flattering and the color (I got the blue) is so pretty. I don't think it works as a top very well, but the way the skirt fits makes up for it.

Love it but it stretches
March 17, 2013

I love this product. I have owned it in black for over a year and worn it many, many times, both as a skirt and a top. After wearing it a couple times as a skirt, though, I realized that that will stretch it out so it doesn't fit snugly around my boobs anymore. It only looks really good as a top when it fits quite firmly around the boobs, in my opinion. So now I only wear it as a top because I really like how it looks that way and don't want to 'lose' that option. So, for that reason, I guess it's not quite as versatile as it 'seems'. It is still stretching out a bit anyway, even though now I only wear it as a shirt, but it is knit and not magical, after all. I just ordered it in another color, but at the sale price, since I know it will not last 'forever'. For reference, I am 5'4", bra size 34B, 117 lbs. and I purchased an XS. (If it came in an XXS, I would go for that instead!)

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: stretches out w/wear

Great casual comfort.
May 27, 2011

Great skirt! I purchased both black and storm print, size small. I have worn as a skirt and received many compliments. I like skirts sitting on my hips, and only comfortable skirts will do, this one sits well, looks great from the backside, no cling, works with leggings or bare legs. Material is light, not see-through, when sitting on hips the skirt falls just at the knee cap, I am 5'4 and 3/4", 128 lbs. As a top it covers all the right stuff, looking forward to the temps reach 102 and I will wear as a top. Washes and packs supreme, hardly wrinkles, no cling. Drawstring works good.

September 05, 2012

This is a great skirt. Love the color and style. I wear it both as a skirt and a cover up over swim bottom. Love that it can be worn also as a top, however I would need to figure out how to put a bra under it. The only drawback is that the skirt waist stretches out as you wear it. It would be good if they could figure out how to make the tie on the side functional to tighten the waist. One wash and it is back to where it started. It is cute, still glad I got it!

Super Soft
May 08, 2010

This skirt is really cute and so soft. It fits great as a top but as another reviewer mentioned, fits a little tighter than I would normally wear as a skirt. (I've 5'7' 135 and ordered a small). I still plan on wearing as as skirt most of the time and as a top when I feel the need to change it up.

Fits smaller than the longer skirt, same version
July 29, 2013

I have the same skirt in the mid-calf length, which fits fine and is very comfortable. This one is much tighter in the same size, plus the cut is more flouncy than I expected, so I returned it. The longer version has been washed once and already looks like it's starting to pill. I was in a situation where hanging it was not an option, so put it in a low temp dryer. Now that I'm home I will be hanging it to dry and hopefully it will last longer.

Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Cons: Wears quickly, sizing

This skirt is light, airy and really comfortable. On the really not days during the summer, this skirt is WAY more comfortable than a pair of shorts. Just received this today and am looking forward to wearing it for the rest of the summer and many to come! It is slim especially through the waist and hips but flattering. Runs a bit small. I am 5'10 and 133 lbs, lean and athletic. Ordered a small and it is fine if you don't mind hugging curves. When the side is cinched to highlight the cool waist design, it is a little shorter than I would have preferred but certainly modest. Also very fun as a top! Quite pleased. Like the fabric, not too heavy for summertime but substantial enough. Haven't washed it yet but will definitely use cold and line dry.

I was so excited about this skirt, I couldn't wait for it to arrive. But the moment I pulled it out of the bag I knew it was going back.
