Awesome Jacket and Service
October 09, 2010
I love this jacket! I borrowed one from a friend (it was her dad's and had lasted over 20 years) and used it for a month-long backcountry camping trip in the Colorado Rockies and was never cold! I loved it so much that I had to buy one. It's super warm and is great for layering; it's very versatile and can be used as an outer shell or as a layer, and I appreciate the fact that it's not down, so it performs better in the rain. I used it in the Oregon Siskiyou mountains in October when it was 28 degrees and was totally comfortable with the Nano Puff, a layer underneath, and a hat and gloves. The fit is true to size for Patagonia products (a little bit small-I'm 5'6" and 125 lbs and got the XS. Both the XS or the S would fit). I camp frequently, and I really love the fact that the jacket can be stuffed inside itself, into its pocket, which makes it super easy to carry, using minimal space. Overall it's a great jacket, especially if you don't want to commit to spending a few hundred on a down jacket. It was also delivered within less than 24 hours, which is always an added plus!
Pros: Performance, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: no pockets2nd most versatile item in the closet

I bought the Nanopuff as the second for my wife so she could have in a different color. These jackets/sweaters/do-everything garments are the best. They are extremely light and pack away into nothing. Also, despite being warm when you need it, the jacket is comfortable in a wide range of temperatures and is not too hot even when the temps get above 60 degrees. The quality is excellent and this pullover would rank as the most versatile item if not for the Patagonia Down Sweater, which is even better.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Lasts forever, PerformanceWrite a review for the Patagonia Nano Puff Pullover here.

Bought this pullover for my wife. She always has it on. She wears it around the house, under a shell shell on the GS course or under a down jacket when it is really cold. Because it is windproof and such low bulk, it is perfect for layering. I might have to buy her another because she doesn't want to spend any time without it. Although it is kind of expensive, she is getting a lot of use out of it.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, PerformanceGreat for Outdoor Winter Running
January 22, 2011
I have two of these that I alternate wearing for outside running- when one is dirty, then the other one comes out for use. This pullover is extremely lightweight and weighs next to nothing. It has enough room so that you can layer tops underneath of it without looking bulky and shapeless. I also use this pullover to layer underneath of my down jacket. Since it's very thin, it easily fits underneath other jackets without being bulky. I also can throw it in the washing machine when it's dirty and it dries in no-time. I really can't say enough good things about this piece.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, lightweight, Cons: CostFunctional, but not very fashionable
July 28, 2011
After much back and forth, I finally decided to get the pullover rather than the hoody or jacket. The PO is much lighter, and I didn't need the full-length zipper. The hoody would have been nice, but I could save 6 oz in my pack. The dark green color is very very gorgeous. I love the fabric which is very soft. I did notice quite a bit of static, so if you wear wool underneath, you might zap yourself many times when putting it on. It's thin, yet very warm, as well as packable. It does fit weird on me. I went with xs after reading all the comments here, and it's still boxy. Furthermore, the arms are quite big, but I guess you need the room to get in and out of, as the fabric is not stretchy. Overall, I love the function of this PO, but it won't make a fashion statement.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Great valuevery good

November 05, 2010
Lightweight, warm, and very comfortable. I am 5'4" 123 lbs. and I got a small and fits just right, tried a XS on in a store and was too tight in the shoulders. Looking forward to wearing this during the winter for casual outings.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Cons: CostDid you recently buy the Patagonia Nano Puff Pullover? Write a review.
Warm, good as a under layer
March 07, 2011
Bought the purple one. It looks very nice. Sleeves are prefect and I can move around freely. Feel a little bit short and badly don't have a ham cord, so the wind gets in from the waist and makes its windproof function useless and when the wind starts to blow, I can feel t he chill. However, it is a prefect under layer, I wear a fleece over it and it makes me superwarm. I would say this is a very good outer layer for a non-windy day. But for mid 60s' temp, you should wear something over the nano puff.
Pros: Great designIndispensable!
November 10, 2010
This pullover is so cozy and warm that it's hard to take off! It's light, easy to stash, and offers a lot of different layering options. The fit seems true to Patagonia sizing to me. At 5'2" and 110 lbs., I ordered the xs and the fit is just right with room for layering underneath or alone (over a t-shirt). I didn't give it the 5 stars for durability as I've only had it for two mos., but I purchased it because I have full confidence in Patagonia's products. I love the fog color and I just might have to order another in a different color!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, built to lastGreat Little Pullover
December 17, 2010
Last August I went on a two week birdwatching trip to the Orkney Islands off the northern coast of Scotland. Just by chance I happened to take my newly purchased Nano Puff Pullover with me and what a blessing that turned out to be. The first couple of days, I was miserable. A strong, cold wind blowing in off the North Sea brought a lot of rain, dampness and very uncomfortable temperatures. I had completely forgotten I had packed my pullover and when I found it stuffed in a side pocket of my carry-on, well, there just aren't words enough to describe my joy. I wore it under my raincoat everyday for the rest of my trip. I love this pullover. It's not bulky and doesn't inhibit movement. It is easily stored away in it's pocket making it perfect to stuff in a backpack or even in a jacket pocket. I found it to be very warm when worn with a base layer long sleeve undershirt. My only complaint and it's just a little one. I ordered a small as I'm 5'2, weigh 102lbs and have a bone structure that would rival a chicken. Even at that, the bust was a tiny bit fitting and the sleeves a tad too long. I suppose I could have ordered a Medium to get a extra room in the chest but that would have made the arms even longer.
Pros: Great design, PerformanceOh So Versatile
December 30, 2010
Love, love, love this pullover. I bought it primarily as a winter outer layer for cold mornings on the waters of Lake Union but I find that I am wearing it everywhere. The warmth to weight ratio is really out of this world. I wear this with a tank and t-shirt underneath on warmish PNW winter days (45F). On cooler (34F) crack of dawn mornings on the water I can layer an Icebreaker powder hoodie underneath and feel super toasty. On those cold nights I go out to the movies or dinner with friends I wear this with a wool peacoat over it and it looks like a nice casual top. It really is a versatile piece. I got the fog color and I love that it is an off white. I am 5'2" and 128 pounds. I measure a 32-26-36 and an XS fits me just right.
Amazing pullover for layering
October 12, 2010
The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is a bit roomier than I expected and the bottom "flares" out a bit instead of gathering snuggly around the hip area. I'm 5' 6" 140 lbs and need to size down to the medium. That said...the most amazing light, fluffy and warm garment...you won't want to take it off!
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of useHad To Get It!
July 17, 2011
I first saw this product a year ago on my daughter's friend who is very much into outdoor sports. I asked if I could try it on, and fell in love with it immediately. When cold weather came and I went to order it I went for a size medium. Though I loved it for its lighter than air feel and instant warmth, the fit was too tight across my chest. I am 5' 6" and 140 pounds and have broad shoulders for my height. I am reordering in a size large and am looking forward to having something to keep the winter chill away!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, love the combination of lightweight warmthLike, not love
September 27, 2011
Greatest feature - the nanopuff folds into its own pocket to make a neat (little!) package to toss into your bag. And the colors are fab. FIT isn't perfect, though. I'm a little over 5'8" and weigh 130 lbs - the small is slightly roomy, but short in the torso. The medium is huge and still not long enough. If you are long and lean like me, you will wish for a longer, slimmer fit!
Fantastic!!
September 27, 2010
I purchased this to wear under my skiing shell. Skiing has not yet arrived but I have attended a few football games where the weather cooled off greatly and I had the opportunity to wear my new jacket. This jacket is awesome to take with and throw on for those cooler temperatures. Its light weight but warm and fit is true to size.
Pros: Great design, Ease of use, light weightVery handy jacket!
October 06, 2010
So far I've used this jacket when traveling on my motorcycle, and it's been great. I bring it along as an extra mid-layer, and since it's so lightweight and packable, it takes up little space. I will also be using it for backpacking. It's thin, but adds a surprising amount of warmth, and it has room for me to wear a t-shirt and and the new lighter version of the R2 fleece underneath without being overly tight. I'm 5'4" and 105lbs. and have a small.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, packability, Cons: CostI love this jacket
April 28, 2010
Was concerned it would be too tight around hip, but it was fine and waist was tapered nicely. The green color is current, and ok for spring. I plan to get another color in the fall when there is a good selection! This jacket packs really well for those days when it rill be warm in the afternoon.
lightweight warmth
December 02, 2010
Great lightweight down pull over, wear it alone or under a shell on colder days. Very comfortable to wear. Packs up small to take along. Can fit it in your purse, backpack, tote. I am 5'8, 135, but I bought a large so I could fit it over sweaters and the size is perfect for this. I think this will get a lot of wear this winter.
Pros: Great design, PerformanceLove the nano puff; love the men's version more
April 12, 2012
I originally got this in a women's medium because I liked the color options better. However, I have a long-ish torso and bigger chest and this looked really awkward and it was hard to move my arms because it was too tight across the chest. The large was too big everywhere else and too small in the chest. I swapped it out for a Men's small and it fits a lot better. As far as the pullover goes in terms of functionality, it's great. It's super lightweight and packable, which makes this an excellent choice -- I can just stick it in the glove compartment of my car or my purse and have it when I need it. I also travel a lot and this pullover is great because I don't have to pack a bunch of coats on work trips. This works great alone for sportier applications or under a dressy coat on those cold nights where you still want to look nice (it fits into the pocket of my wool coat).
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: Cost, fits awkwardlylightweight warmth

Best pullover
February 04, 2012
This pullover is super light but protects from the elements. I don't plan on wearing in the snow or anything just something I can carry. It fit's in it's own pocket and I plan on putting it in my purse when I travel. I have worn it while riding my bike and it is amazing. The color choices are really fun, I got the pink, love it. I haven't got any con's on this item.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of useGreat layering piece! Light as a feather and warm.
March 30, 2010
The Nano Puff is the lightest jacket I have ever tried... lighter than the down sweater. The lack of a full zipper and additional pockets keep the weight to a minimum. Wearing it alone, I forget that I have a jacket on. I like to layer and this adds loads of warmth without any weight. I use it for cold weather outdoor sports and around the house, since we never put the heat on. I have three: two women's and a men's version, which is the same except has square quilting. I no longer use my down sweaters, because this one is so great.
Nice, but sweatshirt like
December 13, 2011
The nano puff vest has been my favorite for a couple years, and I wanted another option so I got the pullover. It was more sweatshirt like and didn't have pockets, so I returned to get the nano puff jacket. It's a great product, but just not my thing. I also didn't like the green color - I have pale skin and it made me look ill. I'm 5'4" and 135 lbs, and the medium allowed me to layer underneath and have plenty of room for motion, but if I wanted a more fitted look, I would suggest a small. Nice pullover, but opted for the jacket as it also had pockets.
Pros: Build qualityFun and functional!
October 02, 2011
I love the colors offered and the lightness of this piece. I've got two now, and while they snag occasionally, the lightweight warmth is great for Texas and my hot nature. Depending on fit desired, one can go down one size and have a close but still moveable fit. Great for layering. Just needs a pocket!
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: lack of pockets!very good

This is a wonderful pullover for medium to cold weather. It is very lightweight and the fabric is very soft. It is perfect for fall and spring and under a heavier coat in the winter. Also, the color is great. Highly recommended!

Lightweight, warm, and does a good job blocking the wind. Extremely versatile piece of clothing. If there was one spot for improvement, it would be pockets for my hands. Overall, I love it.

Amazing Pullover
February 16, 2012
Just bought this for my wife and she loves it! It is an extreemly versitile piece that is much warmer than the weight would suggest. If you wear layers undewrneath it becomes almost like a winter jacket or if you don't, it is great for outdoor winter aerobic activities. It's windproof and also packs down very small for travel. All in all, another great piece from Patagonia.

Wonderfully light and warm!
March 08, 2010
I bought this in vivid violet, which is a gorgeous color. I'm usually cold, and wear it indoors in my cold house and outside - just great! Great sleeve and body length. My only gripe is that it doesn't have side zip pockets for hands and items, and don't find the left check pocket to be terribly useful(or helpful to the look). If it had side zip pockets I would have definitely purchased at least one more. If in the future side zip pockets are added, I'll buy more.
So silky I don't want to take it off!
February 19, 2010
I ordered the vivid violet, and the color is beautiful and not "neon," which I feared it might be. The fit through the shoulders is good, as is the sleeve length. I've been wearing this in the cold basement of our house as well as walking the dog in 40 degree weather. It's been perfect with a Smartwool shirt layered underneath. This jacket reminds me of my son's baby blanket, it's so soft. The only thing I wish it had was a bottom cinch cord.
As always Patagonia makes a good product
May 04, 2010
This pull over is light weight and warm. Great for hikes, backpacking, etc. I only wish it had hand pockets.
Love, Love, Love this jacket
March 18, 2011
This jacket is awesome. the weight is perfect for cooler spring nights or outdoor activities. I found that it runs a little big, I like my jackets a little more form fitting. I am 5'8", weigh 125 and probably considered small boned. The XS fit perfectly! The only downside is the price, but Patagonia is worth it.
Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Cons: CostA great addition to Patagonia's line
November 20, 2011
I just bought a Nano puff pullover, and like it very much. In fact, I bought 4 more for my family for Christmas gifts. Here's why: I already have the Patagonia down sweater and think that's a great jacket, but sometimes, it's a bit too warm - so the nano puff is a bit lighter. The nano puff is also not as puffy as the down sweater, and it fits better under my precip jacket in the rain. I love the combination of the nano puff and a lightweight rain jacket over it (I know, Patagonia now makes a nano storm, but I didn't like it). The fit isn't my favorite. The shoulders and chest run a bit big, and I think the pullover could be a tad longer. I prefer a slimer, sleeker fit. But that doesn't detract from the warmth the nano puff provides, the comfort of it, and the great colors.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, warm while not too puffy, can get wet and still be warmThoroughly pleased with my Nano Puff! It's really warm!
October 20, 2009
I row (8+) at 5:30am, five days a week and have been looking desperately for WARM, yet light, wind-resistant, non-resticting outerwear. It's been 39 degrees in the am and this has proven itself well worth the money. It is extremely warm, a great layering piece, easy to remove when necessary, fits in the bottom of the boat(important!), and looks great too. Pockets would have been nice, but overall, great product. Thank you!

Fun to wear, versatile piece
February 11, 2012
Every time I buy something from Patagonia I am loving them more and more. The brand is expensive, but worth it. So all the better when I can find it on sale at Altrec. Which I'm glad I did, because for some reason this item is impossible to find in retail stores. It is much warmer than its weight would indicate. It is comfortable. I ordered my regular size and it works on its own or as a layering piece. I am 5'6" 125 lbs and the small is a good not-too-tight, not-too-loose fit on me. This can be layered, and it can be stuffed into a ball to use as a pillow and then fluffed out and put on. My only complaint is I like side seam pockets and this doesn't have them. But maybe then it wouldn't have been so lightweight and stuffable. It does have a Napolean pocket into which it can be stuffed into for packing.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of useAnother great Patagonia product

We live in a very windy area. The Nano Puff Pullover is great for windy days when I am walking and want warmth without bulk.

Women's Nano Puff Pullover
November 28, 2011
Great layering piece and great to wear alone. Very easy to pull on and off, even with a ski hat on. Slides easily under other jackets. Zipper is extra deep, so vents very well. Neck is very comfortable. I am 5"5 and 125 pounds and wear a size large. A size medium would probably be too snug through the lats and across the chest. Have gotten lots of compliments on it. Highly recommend this for casual and trail use.
Pros: Great design, Lasts forever, Performance, great mid layerUltra comfortable

This is perfect for the swedish weather. It´s warm and cosy for a walk on the windy beach. I just love it. The size is perfect. I´m a small and I bought a small.
Good looking, nice fitting jacket
December 12, 2009
This jacket fits great. It could use a pocket with a zipper on the side so it could be used as a spring ski jacket.
Best Pata Jacket ever!
April 07, 2010
Like the original puffball this jacket feels so good you won't want to take it off. I wear it alone and layered. Has a nice fit for women.
Perfect for running
February 14, 2010
Great for running to at least 20 F and -12 F when combined with the regulator. It washes easily and line-dries in about 4 hours. Incredibly light, durable and comfortable - you won't regret this purchase.
good layering
October 29, 2011
Very soft and plyable. Fits a little big but I wouldnt want it smaller. Makes for a great layer. Color is really pretty. Fits well under my ski jacket on a cold day. You won't be disappointed.
Pros: Build quality, Ease of use, Great valueFebruary 02, 2012
I have the green and wear it for hiking and around town even on very cold Michigan days. It also is a great under-layer for skiing. My only criticism is that it is a little short and boxy - I would prefer a longer, more narrow fit, and it could use some pockets for your hands.
Light but Warm
September 02, 2012
What can I say about the nano puff pullover! I would buy the jackets, pullovers and vests in every color if I could afford to. I love all of them. Packable, squishable. I take them with me all the time inside my purse, or backpack. The fact that they take up no room and are so warm makes me come back for more all the time. I love that you can throw them in the washer. They fit true to size.
Pros: Great design, Lasts forever, Cons: CostGreat Gift.

I bought this puffy for my bosses birthday in Lemon Burst and it is awesome. The color is neon yellow, the fit is true and the warmth is unbelievable. On clearance so it was worth every penny. Cannot wait to pick one up for myself.

Excellent Pullover
May 11, 2010
I bought the nano puff to help my wife get over the cold sitting spells in camp. She tested it out in ~20F with minimal activity. After two hours she was ecstatic with it's performance.
Wonderful mid-layer
August 23, 2010
This is a very comfortable, warm pullover and I love it! The first time I looked at it, I thought, how can this very lightweight pullover be warm enough? I use it as a mid-layer with a hard shell over it and it performs beautifully. I bought two more in different colors.
Fantastic, but some room for improvment
February 17, 2011
I really like it, seems quite warm for how light it is. the room for improvement would be in the fit. I could have gone with a size medium but too tight when I brought my arms forward, so went with the large. It could also be a bit longer to keep the hips warm. But I like it and have already recommended it to friends as warm when wet which can be critical!

Nano Puff Pullover

It seems like it is going to be perfect. Fantastically light for backpacking and traveling and also cute to wear into town. I can't yet speak to durability, but Patagonia almost always does great there - that is why it is worth the money.

Dear Consumer, I must say this garment is sure to please. Patagonia is a wonderful company for so many reasons (so is Altrec!) and this pullover style jacket won't let you down. First, for functionality, this jacket is so versatile, whether an athlete or one who prefers the inside, the Nano will beckon you. As a layering piece on the coldest of days to a chilly summer evening, THIS is the item in your closet that you will pick. The fabric is so soft, like a baby's blanket...if you find yourself camping you can use it as a pillow! The color choices are spectacular and always fun. The Nano is just the best! Enjoy and live life to the fullest.
Pros: Lasts forever, Performance, Cons: Costversatile, warm, light
March 15, 2011
This light weight coat is great as a warm layer under my ski shell and for inside the house on our cool , damp NW days. The colors are fun and the fit leaves room for extra layers underneath without being too big or bulky.

Women's Nano Puff
April 13, 2011
Love this pull-over. Perfect wight for spring and chilly summer nights. This is the second one that I purchased, just because I wanted another "fun" color. The ultramarine color is great! Bright and spring-like. Would recommend this product!
Love It!
October 13, 2010
I bought this jacket for spring skiing and it stands up to cold mornings .. with a layer underneath ... and warm afternoons on its own. It's good in rain, sheds light snow and moisture and is incredibly light. It packs down to nothing and tucks in a bike pack or back pack. I got the vivid violet and the color looks like a sunrise.
Fabulous for exercise and everyday
March 06, 2010
I have this nano puff in both the black and bright green. I normally wear a medium but bought the large so I could layer it for cold morning walks. It layers well and keeps me warm outside in 30 - 40 degree weather as well as in our drafty old house. I originally bought the green but loved it so much I came back for the black and wear them all the time. This pullover is well worth the money.
