Very nice parka
January 26, 2013
I like this parka very much after I received it and try it on. I'm 5'7" and 130 lb, medium size just right for me. I didn't try in colder weather yet, hopefully it will works for me.
Function and Fashion! Love it!

I work my clothes hard, real hard. I work outdoors in freezing conditions feeding and caring for livestock. This coat not only fits the bill for me, but is also stylish and flattering. The only complaint I have is the pockets are a bit off, but that may be just me and my needs for tools and such. I never thought a coat this light would ever keep me warm enough. But it does. I can also throw it in the washer and it comes out looking new. I just wore it town with a cute hat and had compliments on it. So far the best coat for me. I just got rid of a few other coats I test for competing clothing manufacturers, this one puts them to SHAME! Patagonia rocks.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, does not show dirt., feels comfortable., fits perfectBetween B+ and A-

Patagonia's been coming out of the closet with wonderful solid performance stuff the last half decade or so. This jacket is included. The XS fits 5'8" 120 lbs loosely, with room for layering. For having 600 fill-power goose-down, it delivers its promise: it's not bulky & quite comfortable. It's so unbulky, I'm wondering if it would be warm enough for snowy day in the village for après ski / snowboard though? This is coming from someone who gets cold easily, but maybe the jacket could use a teeny more bulk / fill? It's definitely warm, but I didn't try it out in the mountain. The downside with this jacket yet is styling. It wants to be casual chic, but it's not quite hitting the right note with the visible seamingly oversize pockets. It could possibly add a tie / belt to break up the elongated feel & shapes the figure a little better?
Pros: Build quality, Ease of use, Cons: questionable designIt is OK parka

This parka is for tall women. The sleeves are really long. I like style, do not like fabric. The fabric remind me an umbrella and make nose during moving.
