This bottom offers a great fit, sits just right with enough coverage without looking like granny pants! Fits true to size, I am a size 4 in pants and the small fits perfect. I bought this together with the Jamala top and it looks so cute together!

I ordered these bottom last year as well and I was excited to see the fun new colors! They have great coverage and stay in place well for an active day on the water. I am 5'4 125 pounds and I was right between a small and medium. I chose medium because that's what I got last summer. The top options with these bottoms are really cute and functional as well. You can't go wrong, I'm buying to different color suits :-)

The Sunamee bottom is my favorite, not to much coverage, not to skimpy, just right... I am a waterskier and these bottoms will hold up for several years to the hundreds of deepwater starts that I do. Some other brands don't even last 1 month.

Love this suit! I can wear this suit waterskiing, wakeboarding, surfing, paddleboarding and chasing 3 kids around and it never falls off! I have it in 2 different fabrics - just tossed a third bc it finally started to wear out after 4-5 years of hard use. I am 5'8", 125, boyish build and wear a small. I wear it straight across the low hip area and it's a little less matronly looking than the photo on the site.

I have purchased only these suits for years now! They are great! The bottom sits just right, across the hips, but no so low that I am hanging out! The coverage is perfect, not too skimpy, and not too granny. Best of all they STAY ON! I am usually a 4 (5'6", 125) and the XS fits perfectly. They hold up well, even tho they are pricey they are worth it for me!

Weird Sizing

Ok, I don't know if I'm just right between sizes or what but I have gone back and forth between the XS and S and can't decide which to keep. The XS seems too skimpy but the S is baggy in the butt area. The top of this suit is so cute I am definitely keep it but feel like the sizing in the bottoms is not great. They are generally quite wide across the top and I think that causes the problem.

My backside is covered without looking like it is! Comfortable, durable, fabric. The waist elastic is tight (not uncomfortable), but if your hips are "soft" these might not be the right bottoms for you...

These swimsuit bottoms are fantastic! I found my first pair in the store after trying on at least 20 different suits from different brands, and these were far and away the best for me. I've since ordered 2 more from Altrec. They have enough coverage for very active use, but are still cute and don't look like 'granny panties.' Definitely recommend!

Great fit, true to size. I love Patagonia and this is the first bathing suit I have bought from them. I love the bikini I bought! It fits great and stays put! Highly recommended!

I was worried about buying a bathing suit online without getting to try it on. The bottoms usually are too tight or too big. But these fit great, true to size, and are comfortable.

I LOVE Pagatonia bathing suits because they fit well, stay put, and do so in style. They are a little on the expensive side, but well worth the extra cash. I buy one every year.

This pattern is super cute. The elastic on top is not too tight, which is good for playing in the water and looking good, but not for functional swimming.
