Designed in packable, lightweight and tear-resistant 100% nylon fabric with a waterproof/breathable H2No® barrier and a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish, this pull-on option pant features a raised inside pattern to diffuse and channel moisture away from skin, aid in hassle-free layering, and enhances durability. Updated features include a buttoned, zip-fly-separating waistband with partial elastic, a cleaner more comfortable finish, anatomically contoured knees, and new fully separating side zips with snap closures at the ankle and waist. Gripper elastic keeps the cuffs in place for full coverage.

have not had a chance to test it so far
February 28, 2013

I have not tested the pants in rain yet, so I just cannot comment on the most vital side of rain pants - performance! What I can say right now is that the pants are very light weight, and not bulky. I am replacing regatta rain pants, which was heavier and more fluffy than this one though regatta's performance was very good - wore in heavy rains in heavy winds. I normally wear medium size, but bought this one in a large size and am very happy with my choice - they fit perfect on another pants. is a bit longer for me - I'm 165 sm, 58 kg - but will still work on boots

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value

These are the perfect light raingear pants. They fit great, but they run a little on the large size..... I downsized one size, and they fit great. If you want rain protection, without the bulk or weight, or added warmth, these are perfect, and are the best on the market.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: Cost

Great Rain Gear
August 06, 2010

I bought these pants for an upcoming hiking trip in Ireland. But they have come in handy with the recent rain storms hitting the Northeast. The best features of the pants are the zip-fly front and the separating side leg zippers. These zippers make the pants super easy to get on and off without removing your shoes or boots. Plus the water repellent finish keeps you nice and dry.

H2O Right On
July 27, 2012

Purchased these pants for climbing Kilimanjaro because the rains are unpredictable on this mountain. They are easy to pack and thought it was a better choice than Gore-Tex since it was lighter in weight, seam-sealed and less expensive. Oh yes, and the style is something that can be used for other sports as well.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value
