Great for water sports

As with all Patagonia gear, these shorts are tops in quality and fit. Though I'm fit, I am no longer 20 and I felt they were a bit short for me. That said, they are great for paddling or beach. They dry super fast and the colors don't fade. Good stuff!

These are the best looking boardies I have bought in a while. I hope Patagonia continues to make them. I like the side tie, it doesn't leave a big lump under my tank top. These also stay in place very well for a short boardie. The only problem I see is that they stretch a little when wet. I bought a size 10 & a size 8 would have been better when wet. But, they are very comfortable when dry.

These shorts are great for canoeing/kayaking. Very comfortable, don't ride up. They sit at the hips and the fit is great, although I would order a size up. I usually wear a size 6 and while the 6 fit, it was very tight. Material dries very quickly.

I ordered these board shorts to go with two different bikini tops, both different textures and colors... and these shorts work perfectly with the multi-color design! The fit is great, not too short for this 30+ year old mom with a little extra in the back. AND the quality is excellent of course as always with Patagonia! The material is super comfortable and not stretchy like others that tend to sag after wear. I totally recommend these!

I was looking for a board short that would provide enough coverage so I wouldn't have to worry about "wardrobe malfunctions" while being active, yet still be small enough to get some sun on my Pacific Northwest skin during the short summer. These shorts reach that goal, have a perfect fit, and look good all at the same time.

Well, they've done it again. Another product from Patagonia that I am very pleased with. I love my new Patagonia Shortie Boardie swim shorts. They're a good length, not too short, not too long, and super cute. They seem to be made of great quality, as are all of Patagonia's products that I have owned. I will be wearing these for years to come!

I bought these to wear with the Lole bikini top that is a purple color. The colors are not exact but it looks awesome together! I am tall and thin with boyish straight build. I think my hips are 33". The size 4 fits perfectly, which is my usual size in Patagonia. I wear them in the pool as my bottoms. They are super comfy and dry fast.

I usually wear size M so I ordered size 8. It fits very well. It's so light it feels like I am not wearing anything! It's great for running, water sports and weight training.

I liked the print and colors and tie on the side. But I did not like the fit/material since material did not stretch and will be returning them. They fit true to size, but fit me wrong--loose at waist and the tie did not tighten enough, fit everywhere else. I prefer the slightly stretchy material of the meridian short.
