Love this jacket!
December 30, 2011
This is one terrific jacket! It appears very well-made but I've only had it 2 weeks so I can't honestly comment on it's durability. It is slim fitting which makes it flattering but I can't layer much underneath. The good side of this is that so far I haven't had to layer. I live in the Northeastern US and we have had some recent sub-freezing weather, high winds and snow. I was a little hesitant at first to wear this on a freezing cold hike but it didn't take too long before I was unzipping the jacket to cool down.
I love this jacket!

I bought this for a summer trip to Alaska, where it was drizzling much of the time. Temperatures ranged from about 40 to 60 degress. I wore it both with the lining and without, and found it very comfortable, water-and-wind-resistant and attractive. The pockets were roomy and held my stuff without bulging. I was most impressed by the cut, which was unusually figure-flattering for a utilitarian item.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value, PerformanceGreat winter jacket

I bought this jacket for an upcoming move to Chicago, which has very cold and wet winters. It's a great merging of style and function. I haven't had a chance to test it in winter weather, but I can tell it will be very warm, and the fact that it's waterproof is awesome. The vest also looks great on it's own. I think this coat will hold up very well against winter weather.

Warm, waterproof, flattering (the holy grail)

I've been looking for a winter raincoat like this for a couple of years. I need a coat warm enough for 40-degree mornings, waterproof for 45-minute walks, and light-colored to be seen in the dark. This coat (in the Pearl color) fits all these requirements with the added bonuses of three zippered pockets, a removeable inner jacket, and a trim fit. The main zipper works smoothly and easily -- no struggling to get it started. My only small issue has to do with the liner shedding feathers onto the sweater I wear underneath it. I'm 5'8", 130 lbs, and the medium fits perfectly.
