Description

Ice climbers know all about what it takes to make it to the top (literally), which is why the Women's Patagonia Troposphere Jacket is the sweetest solution to getting them there. Built to breathe, repel moisture and endure rough rock and ice surfaces, this high-performance women's winter jacket is ready for anything. With its impenetrable H2No® Performance Standard shell made from 2.5-layer nylon stretch, meaning it offers excellent mobility for hard-to-reach ice route moves, this performance shell also provides a durable, water-repellant Deluge® finish (DWR) that's ready to handle any type of weather that might roll in. And with a helmet-compatible, 2-way adjustable hood, harness- and pack-compatible pockets and watertight-coated pit zips, the Patagonia Troposphere Jacket for women is as ready to climb as you are—so pull on you crampons, grab your ice pick and harness and belay on.

H2NO.....YES!
January 14, 2014

Gave this shell to my sister and she loves it! I normally only give reviews on products for myself, but nobody has spoken up about what a great shell this is, especially at 60% off! So I thought I'd speak up. I rarely give 5 stars and just cant on something I haven't put through craziness myself. If you're looking for a do it all shell with a lifetime warranty at a fantastic price..... you found one. Its not Goretex, but for years Patagonia didn't collaborate with Goretex and they put a lot of R&D into their H2NO tech....Its legit. My wife had an older Patagonia shell(Shelter Stone) that was H2NO and it kept her dry in all seasons of Cascade adventures. After 4 years a zipper ripped out. We walked into a Patagonia Factory Store and they gave her her choice of any shell they had in the store. It was a simple swap out. That's a warranty. If it was mine I'd wish for an additional zip chest pocket, but that's the only bad thing I can say about it.

Pros: h2no, value, iron clad, Cons: a pocket short
