Lightweight packability

Purchased this item for an upcoming backpacking trip. I loved the light weight and the luxurious feel of the fabric. It fit well and looked great. The attached stuff sack was a nice touch.

Exactly as described. I was looking for a packable down sweater with minimal weight. Packs small, and is super lightweight.True to size for what is is supposed to be, fits more like a sweater or thin fleece. I am 5'4", 135 lbs, 36B, size 6-8 in tops and size 8 in bottoms. I was between sizes and chose smaller size. Small fits me well with a slim fit. I can fit it over a base layer or even a very thin sweater. If you want to wear it over thicker layers and are between sizes, or if you want it roomy, then I would size up.Lagoon color is as pictured, nice vivid blue. If I look closely in bright light, some dark down feathers are visible through the jacket. This may be more noticeable and bother some people in the lighter color jackets. Great lightweight design by Patagonia!

this sweater is awesome. It is lightweight and easy to pack. The only downside, is that there are no pockets. It is truly a sweater. This is a great piece to take in the backcountry. It is light and versatile and very warm.

I really wanted one of these, so I purchased it, along with a nano puff pullover. I compared the two of them, and sent back the Ultralight Down Shirt. The nano puff is much more comfortable and it is definitely warmer, which surprised me. I also didn't like the fact that you can see the down clumps through the shell on the UL down shirt. I was chilly in my shoulders in the UL, yet warm in the nano puff. Considering the nano puff pullover is $100 less than the UL down shirt, I certainly didn't think it was worth it. Even if I had to fit everything into a small backpack for a trip - the nano puff is more versatile, as it can get wet and still keep you warm.
