Created with an easy care blend of breathable organic cotton, recycled polyester and stretchy Spandex plaited Jersey, Patagonia's Vitaliti Strappy Dress is easy packing travel wear that doesn't look like it was made for adventure travel. The plaited fabric offers the soft breathable comfort of cotton with a wicking blend of polyester that helps keep the shirt far drier than 100% cotton dresses. This contoured design features a V-neck front and back with an internal shelf bra and a length that should hit just below the knees when sized properly.

Fit Tip: This is a semi-fitted dress that fits close to the hips. It runs true to size, but customer's with larger hips or those who want a looser fit may want to size up.

This is a great dress. I have one in black and one in academic blue. I have worn them this summer and plan to travel with them in Greece in mid-September. Casual dress that can be dressed up for going out to dinner. Love it!!

I totally agree with the anonymous comment from 7/27. I'm 5'11" and 160, not terribly hippy, 36C... I wear a medium. It's a bit tight in the chest (like she said, flattening, but I have worn a bra underneath for, um, shape). The length is great and I think it's flattering. I find the large too big in the hips - it creates wings - so if you're unsure of which size to go with, medium might be your best bet. Overall, a great purchase!

This dress is perfect for summer camping and fits true to size. The shelf bra is great and provides extra support for hiking, biking, boating. I love this dress and wish it came in other colors.

I'm 5'8", 150 muscular pounds, hippy, 36B. I bought both medium and large. Large was comfy and loose but medium was body-skimming and much more flattering. Hugs curves nicely but doesn't restrict. Shelf bra flattens a bit but does provide adequate support. It is quite snug through the arm pits and this would be the only thing I'd change about the dress.

I bought this dress in two colors and love it! You can wear it casually, or dress it up with jewelry and heels. I'm 5'5" and weigh 127 and the small was a bit too tight across the hips, the medium fits well. I'm a 34b so the shelf bra provides enough support.

I found the small to be a bit small in the chest ( I am 34C) and ordered one size larger. It dresses up and down and suits my lifestyle perfectly. The fabric is gorgeous and it appears exactly like displayed on photo.

I actually haven't worn this yet, but in trying it on I got pretty excited at it's potential. It fits really well. I am about a 2-4, so first ordered the Xsmall, which was a little snug, so I gave it to my daughter. The small fits perfectly and is very comfortable.

I bought 3...in turquoise, red and black. They work for both day and night (with accessories) and kept me going for days! I gaged the fit by previous reviews and was not disappointed! I'm a 38" bust (good figure) and the Large size fit perfectly! I did shorten them, though, as I'm 5'6" and I wanted a more flirty-casual look.

It will fit perfectly within any respectable function you´d like, yet relaxed enough to use everyday. If you´re looking for a clubbing dress, look again, for everything else it´s perfect. It´s really flattering on your body.

I just got my Vitaliti dress in the mail...and it is THE BOMB!!!
It is sexy, I don't need a bra because of the shelf, I can ride my bike in it and I am taking it to Paris next month and can accessorize it with a pretty scarf or a necklace and voila! maybe I'll take it camping in August too!
I will wear it every day until the end of September!!!
I'm going to try and buy another one before they are discontinued!

The perfect travel dress. Skirt right above the knee, super comfy fabric, and wrinkle proof. Only problem is I am very thin, so I ordered the smallest size, and there happens to be too much extra fabric in the tummy area. Also the straps curve a little too much, revealing a bra (no problem if it's a black bra. Otherwise, I'm satisfied, another fabulous Patagonia article of clothing I'll wear forever and ever.

You can dress this up or down. It is made of strechy organic cotton that retains it's shape nicely. It falls right above the knee (size: M).

I want to give the dress a 5, but it comes with the darn built in bra, that is absolutely useless. The built in bra is WAY to big for me, and WAY to small for my Mom. Bummer, but that being said, the fabric is great, the cut is nice, and the dress is great for traveling. I will take it to Africa with me. I give last years model, without the built in bra, 10 stars out of 5 stars, but this dress also comes highly recommended. I wear this dress to work, church, and just for everyday wear, yah for comfortable clothing!

This dress does give a "sexy" look; however, I found it tighter, more form-fitting than I expected, given the other reviews. I was looking for a dress I could wear anytime/anywhere by adding a sweater or jacket. The style doesn't work for me for anything other than a party or more formal occasion. Maybe I will feel differently if I try another size.
