Quality backpack
August 27, 2011

The Yerba pack by Patagonia is great. You just have to know what you are buying, and what you are not. This is not a large pack. That's why I bought it. I wanted something on the small side that is light and easy to use. So if you are someone that uses a bike to commute and you don't need to carry too much then this is a great pack. If you are wanting to stuff a lot of items into a pack then keep looking. All too often I read reviews saying that the pack is smaller than expected. Take a look at what a pack costs compared to other packs the size you are looking for. If it is costs less, like the Yerba pack, then it isn't as big. That said, I am able to fit a change of clothes and a pair of shoes in my pack and that's what I got it for. It works like a charm and I know it will last because it's made well by Patagonia.

Typical Patagonia high quality. The pack is a little smaller that I was envisioning, but for the most part I like that. I use this to transport my laptop, day planner, etc., to and from the office daily, and it's the perfect size for that. Only slight bummer is the size of the compartment for the laptop. Was advertised as holding up to a 17" laptop, which mine is. While it does technically fit my computer it's a squeeze, and takes a little extra effort to slide in and out. All the extra little pockets and compartments inside are nice, and the outside pocket is perfect for a bulky power cable. I've only used this for my urban needs so far, but can tell this would double as a great daypack for short - medium hikes with a hydration bladder.

good bag
February 07, 2012

Very good basic bag for everyone, might be a bit small for average-size adults, but would fit all stuff for school or day trips. The front pocket is open and it's the only thing that I don't like about this bag.

Id buy it again

I highly recommend this pack. I am a 21 y/o college male and this pack fulfills all of my needs. I was concerned prior to my purchase that this would be too small but I have yet to need more space. It is large enough to carry my macbook along with several text books, power cables and note pads in the outer pocket, & two water bottles. I hate carrying around huge backpacks and like that I am forced to limit the weight on my back, which can really add up throughout the day. Also the pen and pencil internal organizer is very useful and doesn't get in the way of my textbooks or whatever I choose to throw in the main compartment which was also a concern of mine. I bought the all black model which is sleek enough for me to also use at my place of employment. It is classy enough to throw on top of a suit and durable enough to throw on and head to the lake or go camping.

Great pack
November 12, 2011

I bought this pack for someone else and he just looooves it. Can hold a lot, sturdy, but light weight! He's gotten many compliments. He likes how his laptop fits perfectly in the inner sleeve and has cushion so a case for the laptop is not needed. It really is a nice pack. Thinking about getting myself one too!

Pros: Great design, Lasts forever, Ease of use, Great value
