Easy enough to carry and something you're very glad you brought along if a sunny, calm day turns chilly or wet, the Pearl Izumi Men's Optik Jacket serves as comfort insurance. The performance, form fit has a sleek aerodynamic appearance, while panels of Optik and Optik WxB fabric allow the jacket to breathe and repel rain and cold winds. Stretch panels along the side, armpit, and sleeves compliment the performance fit, providing freedom of movement without a sloppy, flapping in the wind feel. Reflective logos front and back advertise your presence to oncoming vehicles in low light situations. The Pearl Izumi Optik Jacket for men is extremely lightweight and packs into its own interior mesh stuff pocket for the compact storage cyclists appreciate.

I got the pearl white version and I LOVE IT! It is super thin but blocks wind perfectly well. It also packs compactly into the inner mesh pocket making it easy self containing. I'm a advance cyclist and this is one of my best cycling purchases.

I've been cycling to work for the past year, and finally broke down and bought a cycling jacket. This coat has made such a huge difference. It's light, bright, and somehow keeps me warm in the morning and cool on my afternoon ride home. Someone really smart put this thing together, and I'm thankful.

jacket packs down to nothing. weighs nothing. great job blocking wind. have never tried it in rain. does tend to loudly flap at 25mph+ sizing consistent with other pearl izumi garments. all in all a great choice for variable weather rides

I always overheat in my cycling jackets, so nothing different there. But I'm getting to where I prefer water resistant over just wind resistant jackets.
