Do you wear tights or opt for cycling shorts? It's a tough question when you're looking at fifty or sixty miles of biking in weather that begins cool and finishes hot. Pearl Izumi's Therma Fleece Leg Warmer is a comfortable and far less bulky alternative to layering cycling pants or a shell over your bike shorts. The tunneled elastic construction features a wicking blend of Therma Fleece that helps keep your leg muscles warm and limber throughout your ride. Ankle zippers along the backs of the Therma Fleece Leg Warmers help facilitate the fit and allow for easy removal over any brand of bike shoe.
Great Fit!
I am 6'-6" tall and these fit great. I bought them at the end of winter 2008 and am looking forward to being able to bike more often on our cool spring evenings.
Must have
Leg warmers were recommended to me buy an "extreme" cyclist. He was right. I wear them all the time, easy to remove and store. Ordered my normal size and the fit was perfect.
Great, a must have!
I used to wear just tights and they always got caught on my saddle. A buddy suggest I try warmers and that was 9 years ago. They are easy to get on/off, pack down to nothing and are cheaper than tights.Try Pearl Izumi's arm warmers too. You can take them hiking instead of a long sleeve shirt if you want to save weight.
