From toe to heel, the women's Pearl Izumi EM Trail N1 Running Shoes are produced with the goal of maintaining a great feel for the trail and the grip to go with your grit. The toe cap and forefoot rock plate are your defenders against the rocks and roots that are trying to throw you off course. A minimal midsole, seamless upper and second-skin fit let you focus on making it through the switchbacks rather than what the shoe is doing to your foot. Add in the grippy lugs and water-shunning foam to keep away soggy slappers and you have a trail runner designed for a pure trail running experience that works with you to push through the challenges that first brought you to the trail.
