Pearl Izumi Women's Vagabond Jacket (Fall 07)

Excellent for bike tours and long training rides, Pearl Izumi's Women's Vagabond Jacket has a zip-off sleeve design that makes it easy to adapt to changing temperatures and weather conditions. The lightweight Zephrr fabric is wind and water resistant while remaining far more packable than most cycling jackets. In back you'll find a large pocket that accommodates the zip-off sleeves and any extras you'll need on the road. Pearl Izumi designed their Vagabond Jacket with a Semi-Form fit that facilitates layering without flapping in the wind like relaxed-fit athletic clothing.

Great jacket for all weather, worth every cent!
Snug fit, great for biking, sleeves nice and packable in the back. I got a medium, I am typically a small/medium purchase person. I have enough room to wear clothes underneath. Jacket is longer then expected as most pearl Izumi fits me short, so I like the length!

Great cycling jacket!
I bought this jacket in screaming yellow and now I have to sleep with the closet doors closed! It's impossible to miss when any light is shining on it. This is a form-fitting jacket and the tight fit really keeps your core warm (read sizing chart carefully!). PI made the sleeves longer so you still have coverage when reaching for the handlebars. Excellent design, absolutely worth the money!

A really clever and useful piece of running gear
Deciding what kind of clothes to pack for running on business trips is always a dilemma. Will I need long sleeves? Short sleeves? Rain-resistant jacket? This incredibly light piece of gear solves all the dilemmas. It can be a long-sleeved rain jacket or a light vest, and takes up virtually no room in my suitcase. I love it!

Excellent jacket!!
I usually don't write any reviews, but this time I did. I usually don't spend too much money for jackets, but this is worth it. I wore it while running and surprisingly enough it protected me from the wind. It's also breathable and very light. I love this jacket so much that I'm going to order another one in a different color. I know you're going to enjoy this jacket, too.

I LOVE THIS JACKET!
I got the screaming yellow solely for the visibility factor while running in the city. The cut is perfection! It fits so nicely and is very flattering. It's long enough, and has great versatility with the vest option. When you re-zip all the parts back together, it's tailored so specifically that you would never know it's two separate pieces. Impeccable! It's so light but also gives great protection from the wind. I couldn't love this jacket anymore! My twin also has a PI jacket that she's had for over 5 years now, and the thing just won't die. Great quality.

Very versatile
I'm just getting into cycling, so I'm still learning (often the hard way) what works and what doesn't. This jacket is lightweight and attractive. It's also very form fitting, so give yourself some wiggle room if you're not used to ultra-tailored gear. Pearl Izumi has never done me wrong. Highly recommendable!

Funny fit for curvy types
This is a great-looking, well-designed jacket - the zipoff sleeves are great. Unfortunately, the fit just didn't work for me -- I'm not a large person, but the medium was too tight across the chest and shoulders while the large was just too big, so I had to return both. For those whom it fits, however, it's a great jacket.

get a much larger size than you think you need
I like the jacket, but a large is almost too small for me. I usually take a medium or an 8-10, and the medium was way, way too small. I exchanged it for a large, and I definitely can't add much underneath it.
