Description

Great things come in small packages. The Pelican Nemo 1900 submersible light is compact, powerful and waterproof up to 500 feet. Perfect for exploring or emergencies. The Nemo 1900 has a super bright Xenon beam that will cut through the blackest of nights. Submersible up to 500 ft. That means rain, storms or the occasional dunk are certainly no problem. Twist on/off activation means your light won't get turned on accidentally and wear down your batteries.2 AAA alkaline batteries (included) will light up the night with 7 lumens for 2 hours continuous burn. At 1.6 ounces (with batteries) you'll never notice the Nemo 1900 in your gear till you need it.

not as good as other pelican older model waterproof lights
August 13, 2009

This light is okay as a backup, but the on/off twist top is sensitive and I found it on, when I had turned it off. I'm keeping it as we need lots of extra backups during storms. It is lightweight and can fit in a pocket, backpack, or purse.

Good, for reading at night ,,,

More useful for reading maps etc at night, as it has an adapter that allows the beam to be focused on reading material. Otherwise, it is useful as backup. To be sure of waterproofness, light has to be tightened to 'ON' position, otherwise, wouldn't trust waterproofness. I use to read GPS at night while kayaking.
