Petzl Adjama Climbing Harness

Designed at the leg and waist for full adjustability, the Petzl Adjama Climbing Harness is ideal for all-season, all-mountain use. Adjustable leg loops provide customized comfort when adding clothing layers, and buckles on easily when wearing skis or crampons. Perforated foam padding with polyester mesh lining provides outstanding comfort and breathability when you're pressing daylight. The pre-threaded DoubleBack waist buckle adjusts quickly with a single pull, and the green belay loop helps identify the correct tie-in point. Ridged front gear loops and out of the way flexible rear loops keep your hip rack at easy access, and doesn't tangle with your pack. Additional gear focused details feature a trail line loop and two Caritool slots.

Great Harness
I've only been climbing for a few months and this harness is great. It's very comfortable to belay in and doesn't hurt if you fall. It's easy to get into and adjust to fit well.

Great Harness
I've used a Corax for the last 3 years and found it to be a very good all-round harness. However, the Adjama has all the best bits of the Corax, but has the advantage of being lighter and more compact. The weight loss has been achieved through a reduction in the amount belt of padding. However, I found the "snugger" fit more comfortable than my Corax. I think they have managed to strike a good balance with this design. The most startling thing about this harness is the freedom of movement. This is partly because it is so light, but I think the reduction in volume is the main factor. It is so unrestrictive and encourages dynamic and open movement - I'm sure this is more noticeable having moved from a technically excellent, but bulky, harness like the corax. I would have no hesitation recommending this harness to anyone, whether they are a beginner or seasoned climber. Great work Petzl!

Another Great Petzl Harness
I had a Corax but then bought the Adjama. I like the lighter feel and the soft loops in the back. Nice and comfy to hang in. I like it even more than my corax. A nice new addition from Petzl.

Light and comfortable.
These are our first harnesses, so it is hard for us to make comparisons. They are really easy to slip on. The adjustable leg straps are a nice feature to have and the loop is very comfortable. It takes a little getting used to the "DoubleBack" buckle since you don't actually have to double back . My wife also has the same harness and likes the way it looks too.

Great harness but be aware of sizing
The gretest thing about the Adjama is it's lighteness-it gives great support for both belaying and climbing without a tremendously bulky feeling. However, ladies purchasing the harness should know if you buy the size to fit your waist then the leg loops might not have much adjustment so make sure you measure everything to get the right fit. Other than that it's perfect:)
