Standard gear now
Well, what is not to like? Lighter, just as safe and really sexy looking. Performs identically to other locking biners, so why not lighten up your load and replace all of the lockers in your kit with these. One small downer is the locking mechanism is REALLY slick meaning it unscrews quite easily so just look for the red paint and rescrew it as you need to.

What one would come to expect from Petzl
As the description stated it is large and robust pear shaped carabiner with a snag free opening. I like the smoothness of the screw lock it worked well for one handed operation. Another feature was the red marking on the screw lock to notify you when it was unlocked much like the safety on a gun. When you see red you know there is danger. I like the build quality and operation of the locking mechanism. It would seem a bit heavy if you were to cary 10-15 of them but as this is not likely. I think the added weight is offset by the quality of this carabiner.

Excellent Carabiner
Good size and shape . . . climbed Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan. Really like the screw-lock with red warning indicator.

GREAT BINER!
Petzl colors are just great. this biner has the perfect shape for every belay system i had and the red "danger" mark tells you not to forget closing the gate which is great for maximum security, definitely I'll buy another one.

Excellent 'locker
The Attache is a fantastic locking biner. The 'Red You're Dead' markings on the gate of the carabiner is great for visual confirmation. Another nice feature of the carabiner is that I have experienced minimal cross-loading of the biner in my GriGri when belaying, which is an added safety feature. It still cross-loads sometimes, but much less than with any other 'biner I've used. Fantastic size, shape, and weight.
