Excellent choice for twin ropes
A pair of Dragon Flys are excellent for leading on waterfall ice, and a single works well for mountaineering. The rope is light weight, so far appears durable, and the dry coating helps keep it from icing up when the conditions are wet and sloppy.
The rope has a "nice hand" and coils well, although most often I have gloves on for it's intended purpose. The color is highly visible, though the center mark could be more distinct like the Duodess braiding from Mammut.
Overall, very pleased with the Petzyl Dragonfly.

Fantastic rope!
Bought this rope for Denali expedition and I must say this is one great rope! Best possible choice in regard to length and weight ratio. Dry coating keeps it dry and free of ice build up.
highly visible on snow and ice! Nice colour,too!
