The lightweight, high strength anodized aluminum shaft (7075 alu) is headed with a durable Charlet steel adze, that is contoured for the hand and sculpted for efficient step cutting. The pick, which is designed with a hole for clipping a carabiner or attaching a wrist sling, provides for a smooth swing and solid penetration with its' balanced weight. Offering high performance on snow and ice, the hollow aluminum shaft features a beveled tip that is plugged to prevent snow build-up in the shaft.
