Sharp, grippy crampons
September 15, 2011
These are the best! I love that the toe slides in, but the heel "clamps" in. They are not bulky and do not wiggle when worn on my boots. The points are sharp and snow does not stick to the bottom of the crampon. My only complaint is that it is a little tricky to lace the strap into the inner ring, especially if wearing mitts. Also, since my boots are size 7 women's, the bar was too long to fit my boots. An easy fix... I just had to cut about half an inch off the bar.

My husband has used other crampons in the past...they have broken while on the side of a mountain. BUT NOT THESE CRAMPONS! He loves them. Especially the fact that they lock around his ankle. High quality product for sure!
Build confidence

This product allowed me to come down from the mountains without worrying about slipping and falling on icy conditions. I gained confidence on hiking on the snow/icy conditions and improved my time on the trips.

This is the first time i am trying off a crampon that my friend has suggested me, and what a surprise, went on a bit of snowing trail last weekend, and the grip of the spikes and the spirlock binding system are great, easy to use, also the build quality is solid, i would recommend this to anyone.

Trustworthy crampons

This is the second pair I've owned. Very solid. Trust them absolutely. One gripe - WHY DO I HAVE TO BUY A SECOND SET OF THE LINK BARS FOR MY SIZE 12 BOOTS?? It's $25 for the long link bars. The included regular link bars link bars only fit up to approx size 10.5-11. Why can't they just be an option instead of making me spend the extra money?
