This is the greatest little headlamp. Small, lightweight, bright light, easy to handle, batteries easy to replace and seem to last forever. Beware, I often forget I am wearing it when I get back to town.

This is an excellent compact and bright headlamp. It is easy to put in a pocket or wear around your wrist when you don't need to use it on your head. My husband and I use ours on every camping trip.

For extreme, wilderness, night-time, trail-finding I use the Princeton Tec Apex, for everything else I use the Petzl Zipka 2. Easy to use as a headlamp or a flashlight and plenty good enough for standard packing and camping. It’s so compact, I pop it in my pocket anytime I may need a light (including to some dimly-lit restaurants for reading the menu). Yet, the retractable band attaches to head, wrist, and many other things to provide a hands-free light.

The Zipka 2 Headlamp is very compact, durable and bright. I use it at home, camping and on every vacation we take. You never know when you'll need a headlamp and this one is compact enough to take everywhere!

I love this headlamp and take it wherever I go. Mostly I wear it around my wrist, though it is completely comfortable as a headlamp. Does not take up much space in a bag or pocket. Bright light, great for reading, cooking, finding trail at night...Just be mindful to avoid letting the back snap shut on your finger. This is my absolute favorite headlamp or flashlight or any sort.

For the size and weight the Petzl Zipka 2 Headlamp throws a powerful beam in "high-beam" mode and a more than adequate beam in regular mode. I like it for backcountry use but it actually gets more use around home. I use it for walking the dog at night and peering into dark spaces during various home fix-it jobs. This one worked out so well that I bought another one for a gift. The recipient was thrilled to have it and reports similar satisfaction.

I already have one of these but want another.

I have never had a reading light that is bright enough to read. This one is easy to wear and is bright enough.
