Awesome helmet. Great fit and venting. Coming from a Bern, I felt that the POC had better quality and fit. Fits well with Electric EG2 and Airblaster Airgoggle.

I got the Backe edition and in my humble opinion, it's the best looking design/color of all available Bug options. The design is so slick and clean, the only downside is since the shell has more of a shiny finish than the matte finish of others, the scratches seem to show up quick(er#. As for the helmet itself, I love the simplicity in its construction #not to say the design isn't sophisticated, the double overlapping shells do seem to work very well controlling the heat inside the helmet without compromising its ability to protect against penetration#, the durable materials, and lightness. My only gripe is the detachable clip for goggle straps #poor design, flimsy, etc.); I just do without it.

Good for narrow heads not for round heads

I wear a 7 1/4 hat size but the M/L size fits a bit tight on the sides. I got the adjustable receptor thinking I could size it up a bit if I wanted to wear a thin beanie or balaclava underneath. I took out the side paddings so it wouldn't squeeze my temples and removed the plastic thing in the back so I could wear a balaclava underneath. The quality of the helmet is top-notch, and it's pretty light, just wish it was a tad bit wider.

Used it last Saturday 3/3/12 at Northstar Lake Tahoe CA all day and sometimes i feel like im not wearing it until i start knocking on my head. Just switch from Giro 10 which is really comfortable but style and color made me switch. And im glad i did. And it was really warm yesterday at the slope so the removable insert and ear piece made my head cool and looks cool.

not for super small heads?

I loved this helmet- bankers brim, fit, comfort, no gaper gap, but... I have a very small head. The helmet adjusted down small enough & fit great, but one hit to the head later and the helmet broke. (I only owned the helmet for 3 weeks). The plastic 'adjustable system' pops into the foam core structure (like most ear pieces), when I fell the plastic 'adjustable system' popped out and busted the foam. The helmet may have been defective? Maybe it functioned properly and saved my life or maybe it just doesnt work when it is adjusted so small. Just thought I would mention it. I am going to try the Poc Receptor Bug XS non-adjustable.
