Continuing the legacy of excellence, the LEKI Thermolite XL Antishock Trekking Poles features the premier Soft Antishock System (SAS) Lite that reduces stress on the joints, muscles and ligaments. The combination of an internal steel spring and elastomer creates a smooth and unique shock absorbing suspension that is quiet and reduces loads of shock. This feature can be easily turned off for more efficient climbing and secure support. A positive angle is incorporated into the extended, compact grip that is right/left hand asymmetric, to provide a comfortable neutral ergonomic position for your wrist and hand. The extended grip length allows you to grasp the pole lower on the shaft, eliminating the need to shorten the length every time you encounter a steep slope or side hill traverse. A Super Lock System (SLS) that uses wide thread patterns and steep-angled lock mechanism provides for quick and easy adjustment, and is up to 60 times less prone to loosening while in use. A carbide flex tip that deflects up to 30 degrees without damaging the lower pole section reduces the risk of pole breakage when on the trail.
