An all-around 3-section trekking pole with durable PE compact grip and adjustable strap, the Southern Cross Red Trekking Poles from Komperdell are ideal for first-time users or budget-conscious dayhikers. These telescoping, aluminum alloy trekking poles provide the stability and balance needed for confidence on and off the hiking trail. The Southern Cross pole's three telescoping sections are constructed of a sturdy aluminum alloy that is hiqh-frequency welded and drawn tubes which are strong, lightweight and corrosion-resistant. Ergonomic grips include integrated straps that help to reduce stress on your wrists. A pair of Vario trekking baskets is included for improved traction, while optional winter and deep powder baskets (sold separately) are available to convert Southern Cross poles for use in snow and on ice.
