for a 5'10",220 pound man buying a large size pair of gloves can bea chore. size can vary by mfg, so these fit true to a bit small. If you want to use liners with these you probably have to get the next size. The gloves do keep your hands warm,I used them for skiing,my son uses them for snowboarding. I did put the waterproofing wax on before I used them and it does repel the water. the glove leather seems to be good and the construction of the glove seems good. The mobility of your hands and flexability of your fingers in these gloves is great, no restrictions.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueQuality snowboarding gloves

I just received these yesterday so I haven't actually had a chance to try them out on the mountain yet. But right out of the box, I can tell these are quality gloves. The leather feels really nice, the inside liner is very comfortable and I'm almost positive they'll be warm enough for almost any conditions. I believe that they're true to size so make sure you measure your hands before buying. PS they included a packet of Nikwax to condition the gloves before use. Don't skip this step and you should probably do it every so often to keep it waterproof.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
