Stretchy=comfortable. Run wide in the lower leg/calf area. There is a bit of sheen to the fabric (black color) that is not visible in the product photo.
Nice and Totally Comfy

I was not sure what to expect from these pants given the fit description as "loose". I find they fit just right. I have a lean build and they are not to tight nor to loose. After having tried the Prana Axiom pant and the Crinum, I can say they are a looser fit, but not loose like mall brand jeans. I tend to where regular/standard/whatever the style will change to tomorrow, and the Crinum jean is pretty close to that with a little more room in the thighs. The Axiom was tight in the thigh( skin tight) and loose in the waist. The crinium has the same loose-ness in the waist ( I should be wearing a 33 and these are 34") but a more comfortable fit through the leg. These ARE NOT baggy by any means. Overall they feel great and are uber stretchy. They are thinner then other jeans I have had (probably due to the coolmax/poly) so long term durability may become an issue.

Unlike the tradition type of 100% cotton jeans, this pair is extremely light. They breathe incredibly well and feel very soft. Appearance wise, they look just like their heavier ancestors. The gusseted crotch design is an amazing innovation and makes the jeans fit great. With a slightly loose fit around the leg, the jeans will not stick to your skin. They ride comfortably around the waist and actually contour the butt nicely. They can easily double for casual afternoon treks and classy nights out.

The prana crinum jeans are nice looking and seem to perform well so far. I've taken them hiking and climbing a bit. They aren't as warm as most jeans and are not restricting compared to jeans but still don't compare to tech pants or shorts. Good for warm days but wouldn't want to wear them when it starts to heat up. Pretty durable so far but time will tell and they are pricey so i hope they hold up.

great fit - comfortably slim through the leg and middling regions (I'm 6'3", 185lbs, and got the 33"), like the slight stretch, and they're surprisingly stylish (at least the black ones are). Haven't really put the coolmax to the test yet, and can't comment on durability since I've only had them a month or so. I would take them traveling, hiking and anywhere really. I want another pair, $$ though they are for a pair of jeans...
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of useComfy jeans.

I love the feel and comfort of these jeans right out of the box. They are nice and soft and the gusset makes them very comfortable too. The gusset is such a nice feature that I look for it in all my new pants now. Not sure about durability since I haven't been wearing them long enough, but they seem well built so I have ranked them highly in this, but not 100% sure yet. No complaints. Great jeans.

A nice pair of jeans. They are not overly fashionista, they are hard-scrabble capable & also don't look, or feel bargain-basement. These jeans fit the bill. They move with me, fit well & look good. Not TOO baggy. Not TOO tight. They are 3 bears just right.
