Disappointed
May 16, 2011
I had been mulling over buying these for about a year and finally pulled the trigger. I read reviews from a few sites and decided to follow the advice to buy a size down. I wear a 34" in almost every brand so I went with the med size. From the reviews I expected a loose fitting pant, but they were far from that. They felt cheaply made and I doubt they would hold up in yoga or any active sport. If you're looking for some expensive eco friendly PJ's these are for you. If you're looking for some pants to go hit the boulders or do some yoga you could find better quality for less cash. As always, I love Altrec and their service. I buy from a few select online retailers and they are in my top 3. Get out and enjoy life, tomorrow isn't promised to any of us.
Cons: Cost, Bad design, Poor qualityComfy, strechable

These have a nice stretch to them for yoga, and are relaxed fit enough to make a nice around-the-house pant. The side pockets won't hold much, they're shallow. These are pretty thin and wouldn't survive a snag on a passing door handle I'd bet. I'd recommend. Too casual for casual workplaces, but great for warm climates, yoga, and around the house.
Pros: comfortable, stretchyyoga and more

This pant is great! Lightweight, stretchy, cozy. Pant has drawstring waist with no zipper or button fly. I am size 36 waist with 32 inseam. XL fits great, but like all Prana pants, there is no inseam option, so pants run long. You will need to hem them or roll them or staple them or just let 'em drag, which seems to work well. When your all stretched out, you still have coverage on the ankles.

Great comfy pants

I got these pants for yoga and they work great, however, I find myself wearing them as pajamas, lounge pants and even have no problem going out for random errands. The pants look good and feel good. They were a little long at first, a quick hem and they fit perfectly. I got a size large, Fits very well. I am 6' and active, 185 lbs. The drawstring is much nicer than elastic waistbands in sweat pants. These are a great buy. I may even get a second pair soon. I am really glad to have found these, as it is hard to find yoga pants for men that does not cost a fortune.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, lightweightFinally Something for Men

Good for when pajama pants wont do. I would probably go down a size in the waist, but otherwise very comfortable and durable. These are full length pants, so you will have to cuff and roll or visit a tailor.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of useComfortable Yoga Pant

Love these pants. Totally comfy, allow plenty of movement and are a great hemp blend. I agree with the previous reviews that these work great as PJS, Lounge pants, and around town in addition to Yoga. What more could you ask for?

Awesome Pants

Purchased these pants on sale. They are amazing. I'm 6'5 and wear a 34" inseam typically, and ordered these in an XL. They fit absolutely perfect. They're light weight, breathable, and are baggy, yet not too baggy. They fit like a 35/36" inseam so they can drag on the ground when I walk. I've found myself wearing these multiple times per week. I'll be back for more colors.

Comfortable all around pants

I am now on my second pair of these and really like them. I like them so much I ordered the shorts also but I haven't had the opportunity to try them out yet. I am retired and my day consists of walking about three miles, working out for about an hour and hitting golf balls weather permitting. I usually have a pair of these laid out and waiting for me to slip into each day for the above activities. I also have a closet full of really nice jeans and slacks but these have taken over. I am trying to drop a few pounds and these allow me to walk, exercise and even slip on a nice golf shirt and head to the range. All around a god investment b/c they are a tad expensive.
Pros: Build quality, Ease of use, Performance, Cons: Cost, i wish these had one back pocket.Write a review for the Prana Sutra Pants here.
Best I have found so far

Most of the full length men's yoga pants are way too heavy - especially for a sweaty class. The shorts and half pants just don't work for me. The sutra pants are like wearing linen - but with stretch.

relaxed living or hard practices

These pants are designed to provide plenty of comfort while either sitting around or practicing yoga. The tie up waist allows plenty of adjustability, but be sure to use the sizing chart for your waist size. Fabric is supple yet strong and the design works great for just about any off hours activity. Haven't found a pant as relaxed, lightweight, and supple as these.
