Great pants, a little long
September 22, 2011

For some reason prAna only offers these pants with a 31" inseam for a size small. Since I wear a 30" inseam this is obviously annoying. I had them hemmed at a tailor for $10. So factor that into your budget. But the pants fit great, look great, feel great.

Pros: Build quality
Cons: limited inseam lengths

old style with twist o new flare
November 04, 2010

These pants have a pajama soft comfort that feel like cotton but are not. The synthetic fabric washes easily and details such as the snap closure on the slim utility pocket and waistband give it a nod to yesterday (more 19th century than 1970) with a heads up for today. I don't own any plaid pants, so this was a first and while I like the espresso pattern, my wife, a fabric connoisseur, said " I can't say enough bad things about them!" Her issues were stricktly with the patterns which she said are not noticed from far away but present more as stripes than plaid when viewed close up. The horizontal pin strips of a lighter tan constrast with the overall dark espresso theme that it emphasizes sideways movement on a long torso. I am 6'2'' and the 34 size was good in the waist but a tad long in the inseam. Overall, not a cheap pair of pants, so look in the mirror before you leap. Although I want to go rock climbing in them.....I bought them for work and think they could snag on abrasive surfaces
