fit was weird

This top looked so cute on line, and I had seen it in another retailer's catalog, so was delighted to order it when it went on sale. The problem was the fit. It wasn't clear from the photo or the description that at the end of the sleeves, there is a elastic woven into the fabric to give a peasant top like puffed out look. The elastic was very tight - to the point where it was not comfortable. The bottom edge of the top also has elastic, so that if I lifted my arms and lowered them, it resulted in a mushroom effect. I didn't care for this, and felt like if I had known these areas of elastic existed, I would have thought twice about ordering this top. For reference, I'm 5'4 1/2", 120#, and usually wear a size 2 or XS. I ordered this top in the XS and as I said above, the sleeves were so tight at the end of the sleeve it was almost cutting off my circulation. The hem at the bottom was not uncomfortably tight, but I didn't like the look. The fabric is light, but at the bottom because of the woven in elastic, it has a stiff quality to it, not drapey at all. I returned it and Altrec refunded the price. thanks Altrec.
