EOS Bike Light 4.5 5 2 2
Multi purpose lamp I was pretty excited to find a multi-purpose light source for biking, camping, hiking and use around the house. We bought two and immediately used them on a camping trip. They are great around the campsite and for reading in the tent. And this week, I installed them on our bikes. We ride after work and sometimes we're out at dusk - in traffic, on bike lanes and city streets and we needed a good light for this. The set up and transfer from headlamp to bike is easy, the lamp clips onto brackets on each item. The bike clamp includes three rubber shims of different sizes, so getting a good fit was easy. Batteries have seemed to last and are easy to access. Two very minor items: it is heavier on the head than my son's lightweight headlamp, but that's not a big deal on the bike. And it'd be nice to have a red (lamp) function for night vision and reading in the tent. All in all, a very nice product at a good price. July 31, 2011
Decent light for a non-rechargeable This light shines a good beam, fits nicely on a helmet and is light weight. However the flashing mode has a few issues. It only flashes in it's most powerful setting, which is somewhat of a distraction to me looking at the road ahead which is already lit up by another light, and I'm sure to drivers coming my way... they don't need to be blinded, just to notice me. IN addition, the flashing mode is way to slow; I think it would catch more attention if it was more rapid. I also had a driver almost drive into me, who probably thought the slow flash was a 'go ahead' signal from me. December 5, 2009
