Combining the pure power of a focusable high-output Xenon bulb with three space-age, super-bright LEDs, the Yukon is the ultimate solution for putting light where you need it. Perfect for nighttime climbing, paddling, setting up camp or reading a book. LEDs are configured in a triangle pattern to generate a smooth, even beam of light, and designed to last a lifetime. Waterproof lamp and battery pack. Hinged lamp housing lets you point the beam where you need it, and is mounted on sturdy elastic webbing that adjusts for a perfect fit.

Wolfitt - 2008-01-02great light but what do you do when your $50 light breaks
The wires are loose inside the circuit board module behind the light bulbs. Got it all apart down to board level but can't get to the loose connection. I love the lamp and am not pleased to have to replace it for such a silly reason. I just need service.

30+ years of mountaineering and 9 headlamps later, I'm finally satisfied. It's light enough that I just leave it on my helmet day/night throughout the winter months when we inevitably end up in the dark. The focusable beam is a bonus for scoping out your route, and the 120hr burn time in LED mode may be under ideal conditions, but the Yukon is definitely easier on batteries then any of the previous headlamps I've owned.

This does everything I could ask. Easy on batteries. I use the bright Xenon as a hand flashlight. LED's give off bright even light.

More substantial than I expected. When I'm not using it, can efficiently pack in my vest. I'd buy it again...if needed!

This light is a disgrace to the Yukon River, and shouldn't be named after it. This light worked well for me except at extreme temps. Battery life is greatly diminished and the cord became brittle and snapped on me at -72 degrees below. I recommend it for anything but cold weather use.
