Is bigger better?
November 29, 2011
Flew the new kite this weekend in a very light wind on the beach and had a great time! Despite the soso wind it did not collapse once. This big kite is an absolute crowd-pleaser, and I had to give several tutorials to jung (and old) boys. I LOVE the padded straps! They are super comfy and I am looking forward to some stronger winds without the fatigue in my hands (I am a woman) that I get from the thin straps of the Prism Snapshot 1.9. Overall the size of your kite really depends on the wind and your own strength. I don't necessarily think bigger is better, but in a light wind the 2.5 sure is great fun.Pros: great comfortable straps!, Cons: don't like the color much

Ordered this kite for my boyfriend for the beach. He was so excited! He had been shopping around for one and couldn't find one as nice as this one.

The funnest workout ever!!!
July 13, 2009
There's nothing like a windy day at the beach when my Snapshot 2.5 is involved. Last time the windspeed was around 15 mph. Wow, what a workout. I weigh around 155 lbs. I had to laugh when I was done and saw the ~40 yard trench dug into the beach from me being drug down the beach on my feet, knees, belly, butt, back, you name it. Just to get up again and work my way back up the beach for another go 'round. It's easily the funnest workout you'll ever have, and will work every muscle. See if you can manage to hold up for 2 hours in 15 mph winds.
