Highly recommended
I purchased the helmet with ears protection to be on the safe side. They are easy to remove if you don't want to use them in easier water and easy to put back on when needed! My only suggestion would be not to buy the black one as I did, as we know black attracts the heat which i didn't think about when I bought mine. So far it has been cool enough that it has not been bothering me!

The color rubber black looks cool on the head! A beautiful helmet and it fits snugly. Well built and designed! I can't think of anything that is negative about this helmet. I would like to recommend it to anyone.

helmet is durable and fits snugly. not too tight but solid enough for mounting a go pro camera. helmet stays on w/camera through multiple duck dives in the surf. works excellent.

great helmet if it had fit
The helmet was a great helmet but, it was to small. I don't have an unusually large head (7 1/4) but the large was painfully tight. even thought the intended use of the helmet will most likely be for periods of 10 minutes or there abouts it was still to tight to tolerate even for that short of time. I plan on ordering the helmet again in the XL and hope that it will fit me comfortably as I really like the helmets features and protection and don't want to have to find another model or make to use.

be careful with the size
unfortunately I had to return it. I wear size Medium in hats and helmets, but this one in medium felt so uncomfortably small that I couldn't wear it.
On the other hand it's very well build and would make a good product if fits.

Perfect for wakeboarding
This helmet will help prevent ear drum compression rupture from high impact wakeboard falls. The yellow helmet can easily be seen by other boaters--nice safety feature. Great quality. I own several of these helmets & all guests must wear them when doing water sports.

Excellent value and quality helmet
I bought the helmet for whitewater kayaking and love it! It fits great and is very comfortable! It withstands impact very well also. I would recommend this helmet to anyone who is looking for a great all around watersport helmet at a great value with good quality!!

Great overall helmet!
Great helmet for any watersport. Only drawback is it acts like a parachute when you face plant, but its a small price to pay for having the overall protection. I'll be purchasing another for my girlfriend!

Pro-Tec Wake Helmet
I absolutely love this helmet. It fits my big dome comfortably. Although, I'm only using it as part of my Halloween costume, it fits and looks great.

High Quality and comfortable helmet
Had it on for the first time today wake boarding. It fit perfectly and very comfortable to wear. I'll be buying a couple of more for my kids.

The detachable ear covers are a perfect feature for early morning kayaking where some added protection & heat comes in handy. The flat black look is pretty cool too! Very comfortable.

Pro-Tec wake helmet
Great service and very helpful. The helmet rocks and has much more coverage than the older Pro Tec helmets. Great company to order from, very efficient.

Great fit, finish and style.
I use it for kayaking and surfing. Good and fast drainage and a no slip fit. Excellent quality and function for a lot less than I have spent on other surf helmets. I'm even using it for skateboarding. Love it!

My last helmet was way too dorky...this one is great. The detachable ear covers are a great idea. The black finish looks great. The size is adjustable at two different points in the inside webbing. It not only looks good, but has necessary ratings for "crash worthiness". I'm very happy with this purchase.
