Also contributing to the unencumbered feeling is a host of adjustable comfort features to give you the exact fit you desire. A Softfit™ dual component liner conforms to the shape of your head so you don't feel annoying pressure points as you bounce through the bumps. To get a snug fit, the MC2™, Mechanical Fit and Comfort System, adjusts the liner's circumference to match your head precisely, and a Zip Clip™ ratcheting chin buckle offers fine-tuning so that the strap is not too loose, nor too tight. Quick Clip™ ear pads on the R.E.D. Frequency Helmet provide ear muff-like protection from stinging wind chill and easily remove for comfort in mild conditions or to swap out for the speaker equipped Audex™ Audio Ear Pad Accessory. And not to be forgotten, Burton's R.E.D. Frequency Helmet includes Climacontrol™ venting, a series of screened vents across the top of the helmet that close partially or all the way, depending on the amount of air intake that makes you the most comfortable.
