Tired of rocking helmets designed for dudes, the women's R.E.D. Aletta Helmet gives female rippers the features and fit they deserve. Slide the MC2 Mechanical Fit system on the back of the Aletta Helmet to adjust the liner's circumference for a dialed, snug fit. This system ensures the Aletta snowboard helmet won't end up over your eyes after a few unintentional summersaults in the powder. Getting hot or cold? One touch of an external lever adjusts the ventilation system to your preference. R.E.D. gave this women's helmet a removable goggle gasket to eliminate the unsightly goggle-helmet gap and an ultra-quick Zip Clip ratchet, so you can adjust the chin strap tightness quickly and easily. Last but not least, the Aletta Helmet's ultra light In-Mold liner soaks up impact in the event of a nasty fall. It's not just protection anymore.
NOTE: If you measure between two size, chose the next larger size.

A soft measuring tape is an excellent tool to determine the correct circumference of the user's head in centimeters and get a rough idea of what helmet size will fit them best. If you do not have a soft tape, use string. Do not use a metal tape as it will not give an accurate measurement.
1.) Have the user stand facing you while looking straight ahead. (Tip: when fitting small children it is helpful to kneel in front of them so you are at eye level.)
2.) Using both hands, hold the measuring tape at each end with the marks facing away from you.
3.) Place the fit tape behind the user's head just above the ears.
4.) Wrap the side in your right hand around to the front of their forehead so the end of the tape is centered between (and just above) the eyebrows.
5.) Wrap the side in your left hand around (just above the ears and brow) to overlap the end of the tape with a snug fit. Read the measurement at the end of the tape to determine circumference measurement.
6.) Remove measuring tape and record the measurement. This number can be used to narrow the helmet size selection using the helmet-sizing chart above.
