good simple (classic) boardshorts
April 20, 2013
I have a couple of these and I find them quite comfortable. They fit well over a bathing suit and dry quickly. I find that they run a bit big, perhaps a whole or half size. I like that the colors are simple and not crazy prints, so they do look well and coordinate nicely with different bathing suits (classic style). The inseam is perfect......not too long down to the knees and not way too short. Some board shorts are also very low cut and can be a problem if you are using them for canoeing or other river activities. These are a good low rise...low enough to be comfortable and high enough to stay on while paddling. I have found them to be sturdy and have not had any rips or tears from rocks, cement, trees/sticks and all the assorted things you run into when going down a river. I have used them for canoeing, rafting, tubing and at the beach. For sizing info, I am 5'6" 110 lbs and like the way the size 1 fits. I usually buy a 3 in boardshorts.Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use
