i bought these pants for my dad. he was so happy with the purchase. the material was perfect - lightweight and wrinkle-free. they wash amazingly and look brand new after 10 washes. i would recommend these to anyone looking for style, durability and summer wear.

These will be great travel pants. Lightweight, no iron, -but then I do not iron anything - and quick drying. Am buying another pair and my wife is getting a similar pair for her after seeing mine.

I am going to Spain in a few months and am looking for light-weight, water-resistant, comfortable, versatile pants to wear on the trip. My goal is to pack lightly, bringing along clothes that can easily be washed and dried overnight. These pants are perfect! I have searched and searched, finally deciding to give them a try because of their look and the reputation of Royal Robbins. I am not disappointed. I hope to buy these in other colors, once the websites restock my size. I must be a popular size--they are hard to find. My wife purchased the female version of these pants (Cardiff) and is equally pleased.

fit well they were a good product. I would recommend them. They are a great replacement for what i was using. I like them. I think you will too. The color was great and they were comfortable.

Got these pants as a gift for my brother-in-law. He wanted a pair of casual pants that are light, comfortable and not sticky for the summer, and that still look nice, for example when going to a nice restaurant. These pants fit the description perfectly. THey look casual, but elegant and they are extremely comfortable and light. The fabric is perfect for hot summer weather, and they fit very nicely. Looks like he is going to wear them a lot this summer!

Purchased for trip to Europe this fall. They fit well and were available in a longer inseam than many similar pants which is important to me. Light weight and quick drying are qualities that make them attractive for travel.

I have the lodge pants from Royal Robbins that work great for winter temperatures, and these Global Traveler pants are the perfect warm weather analog. They allow great freedom of movement and an excellent fit around the waist and inseam (I ordered the 30" inseam), perfect for those with an athletic build, thinner waist and muscular legs. I think Royal Robbins has also improved the lightness and breathability of their fabric since my last order of summer pants/shorts three years ago...

I bought these pants for both for my husband and adult son. Both sizes were true to their description. The pants travel extremely well, but better yet they are good at home too. My husband will wear the pants all day and they still look nice. My son works in an office and they look fine for work. I've now ordered a second pair for my husband.

Took these to Georgia (no, the other one) and Istanbul for two months and worked great. Love the zipper pocket for money/passport. The angled entrance for this "secret" pocket is much better than the old horizontal design. It's nice to never worry about tapping your pocket to make sure your wallet is still there (we all do it). It's always zipped up and tidy but much easier access than a stupid money belt! Fit and fabric are great.

RR's global traveler pants are excellent for taking a light (carry on only) load for a 2-3 week trip during the spring/summer/fall. They look stylish, especially the shale. You can wear them with a normal belt and they can pass for non-trekking wear in restaurants and museums. A very light feel, which is great during the summer, but probably not appropriate for the winter without thermal long underwear. Best part is you can bring only one or two pairs on a long trip, wash in the sink when needed and they will dry quickly and avoid pronounced wrinkling. Overall, a great buy for the light traveler (see onebag dot com) who wants to blend in with more normal looking pants and not look like they are on a safari in Florence.

These are the most versatile pants I have ever owned. I travel a lot for work and these pants pack small, hang out without wrinkles and are dressy enough for meetings. More importantly, these are great pants for play. They are resistant to wind and water and are surprisingly warm considering their lightness. I have worn them for hiking, paddling and Nordic skiing (I'm too old for tights). I've yet to be cold even in Minnesota but have yet to be out in below zero temps. I would recommend these pants without qualification.

Purchased these pants and love them. Look great, comfortable, light weight, do not wrinkle and the secret pocket is actually big enough to fit a good size wallet. You can wear them out hiking and then out to dinner if need be. I have got to get another pair.

The pants are great as others have already stated. I just wanted to give a heads up to people not familiar with RR sizing. They run slimmer in the waist and longer on the inseam than most manufactures such as TNF, LEVIS, Merrell, etc.

I ordered these for my husband. He has bought travel pants before and they never fit well. I was looking for pants that could hike in the mountains or look nice in the museums or night spots. They fit really well and are easy to wash and dry over night. I'm ordering another pair today.
