Improvement over the latest GT pants

These pants represent some improvement over the latest Global Traveler pants, which are a dim shadow of the former GT style as the company dropped the zippered pockets, thigh pocket and button cuffs, and appeared to use a cheaper fabric. The new stretch version brings back a zippered back pocket and a zippered thigh pocket. Unfortunately, this time around they chose a cheap nylon zipper, vs the old metal zipper, so I don't expect these will last as long. And still no button cuffs which were great for biking and walking in fields. So closer, but not quite 5 stars. The stretch fabric is fine, not real stretchy, feels durable and looks good.

Comfortable Stylish Pant

Have worn these pants on both European and Central American trips. They're durable travel pants, quick drying and comfortable. I only wish they came in more colors.

Love the pants! It's great looking -- smart casual without looking too "cargo-ish." The fit is great (I am 5' 8" and wear 32/30), and the stretch fabric makes it feel very comfortable when sitting down or walking. The zip compartment on the right side of the thigh is discreet, and is useful for storing passports etc when you're travelling. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase. The service by Altrec is awesome too!

Sorry, they didn't fit me

The pants looked nice, but a 34" waist was too small & a 36" waist let them drop to my ankles. I had to send both pair back. I wish they were available in a 35" waist x 34" inseam size. I have to keep trying on other brands to find pants cut a little different.

Most comfortable pants ever

These are the most comfortable and easy to wear pants I have ever worn. The stretchy quality makes these incredibly relaxing. They do not need to be ironed and are stain resistant. After ordering one pair, I got two more because I realized I only wanted to wear these pants.

Bought these for my hard-to-fit husband who has a 36 waist and no butt. He likes the way these fit and they came in a 30 inch length which he needs. He's 5'10 and 195 lbs. It's a keeper!
