Soft & warm but snaps were a "no-go"

I purchased this for my Mom, because she always complains that sweaters "itch on my neck". This sweater, in a neutral light olive should have been a perfect pick- soft at the neck, sleeves easily rolled (she has short arms but a large tummy), but the snaps proved too hard for her to close. It was true to size & seemed well made but since I already have a RR cardigan, I had to send it back (large sigh).
