Bark'n Boot Liners help with boot comfort
November 07, 2011
We bought the Ruff Wear Bark'n Boots and liners (socks) for our 10 month old 67 lb. Golden Doodle for runs in the desert. We'd taken him out earlier for free runs in the desert and he always seemed to get a cactus spine in a paw at some point. As a result he got hesitant to run in the desert, but with his Bark'n Boots our Doodle now gets excited about his runs. As soon as we take out the boots and socks he's eager to go. The area we go in has sandy trails and some of the sand does get in the top of the boots between the socks and the inside of the boot, but this doesn't seem to bother him at all with use the socks. Bark'n Boots and socks are great in our experience.Pros: Great design, Performance, adds to the comfort of bark'n boots

They do tend to slip down into the boot after time
January 17, 2012
These are for the ruffwear boots, I'm just getting my dog into them, but I think they could run a little bigger for size, the pair for my lab looks so tiny. I guess I'm thinking about my own needs, not my dog's!

Unfortunately, my dog hates these things...they are good quality though and if your dog can tolerate them then they would be a good buy...cabella's booties work the best

my Chihuahua has cold feet when it is cold even I live in Southern California. This is a very good idea for her.
March 15, 2010
My dog is fairly large but has relatively small paws so the boots alone have a tendency to come off when he runs, but by putting the socks on with the boots, they help to reduce this occurrence. I purchased the socks one size larger than the boots only because I didn't want the sock slipping into the boot. So overall, I world recommend these socks for someone who is going to purchase the boots.

So cute and very good under the boots!

We bought the Ruffwear Bark'n Boot Liners to go along with the Bark'n Boots GripTrex Footwear. These are great socks and make the boots stay on our dogs paws much better then without the socks on. We tested our dog with the socks on and then without the socks, and I can tell you that the socks did make a difference. Our dog is a Lab mix and the small/medium fit perfect, you just have to make sure you pull the socks all the way up so they dont clump in the boots. Our dog seemed to really like having the socks on even after we took the boots off, I cant wait to try these in the snow and see how warm they keep her paws. Thank you Ruffwear for another great product, and thank you Altrec for great service.
TRUE TO SIZE, COMFORTABLE ON THE DOG
May 23, 2009
Evidently these are comfortable as my golden retriever hated the boots without these liners.........true to size.....I ordered a large for my 64 pound golden! May order a second pair for hiking with my dog in CO.
October 05, 2009
These socks worked pretty well, sometimes they would slip down into the boot, I think they would work better if they were longer. I haven't tried the boots without the socks, so I don't know how essential they are, but I purchased based on the other reviews and for the price, they work fine and I will continue to use.
Not for hardwood floors
March 01, 2010
Bought these to go inside the trail shoes for my greyhound Shepard mix, the large socks fit his narrow but long (small) feet very well. If we had a carpeted house I'd have him wearing them all the time. They did not seem to help keep the shoes on at all though.
October 26, 2010
My darling black lab has feets owies and I ordered these: not to use with the Bark n' Boots, but as a protective cover to stop her from licking. Being designed for use w/ the boots, I'm sure they work great, but in order to just use them alone as socks... I have to roll them down her ankle to the beginning of her wide paws to keep them from slipping off. How ever they are a tough material and do not stretch out with is a plus.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use
Completes the boots!
October 23, 2009
Although the boots by themselves are amazing, because they are SO rugged and high quality, they can be a little rough on the dog's skin. I noticed my dog was licking her paws right after I would take the boots off, and then I looked closer and she had some skin abrasions from the rubbing of the material of the boot. Now, with the socks that cover her paws all the way beyond the height of the boots, she no longer licks herself and it is super easy to put the booties on or take them off. I will for sure buy a 2nd and 3rd pair very soon.

I can see that the Bark'n Boot liners are well made although the small was too big for my Silky. They dont shrink in the dryer, which is good when you have the correct size. Purchased them to go with the Bark'n Boots Grip Trex which is the only dog shoe I have found made with the same quality as shoes made for us.
Liners work great with boots
June 15, 2009
After a 9 mile hike with Daisy on Saturday, she is ready to go again today! Before her paws would get hot spots and she would move slow for a few days. Now she seems to bounce back from our jaunts much quicker.
Good choice at a good price.

These liners are great and help the Ruff Wear booties fit and stay on very well.
March 24, 2010
The boot liners definitely make it easier to get the boots on my dogs. However, they only work on one of my dogs, she wears the XS boot, because they make the boots slip right off her. Kind of bummed they didn't work out as well as I hoped for both of our dogs. Still a great product for my lab!
May 13, 2011
I purchase these liners for my Great Dane because he has the XXL boots and they are too large for his back feet. These were the largest size liners available so I assumed they would fit. However, these liners were much too small so I had to return them. As return shipping was almost as much as the original product cost, I would not recommend buying these online.
A MUST HAVE!!
June 01, 2010
The Liners are a must have! We have 2 labs that use the Bark n' Boots Grip Trex. I wouldn't use the boots with out the liners. I now have peace of mind knowing there is less chance of hot spots or chafing on my little guys feet. Best Prices on the internet and fast shipping. Especially loved the free shipping on minimum order purchases!

These work great for our dog. The fit is good, and our dog seems very comfortable and happy wearing these. Nicely constructed. I recommend this product.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use
Great quality booties
September 15, 2011
Bought these booties along with the Ruff hiking boots. The boots don't slips off when the booties are on. We hike with our pups, and have been very happy with the quality of these.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

I bought these to use with the Bark N Boots because my dogs have sensitive paw pads and I didnt want them to even have a chance to rub in the boot, and these liners have done exactly what I wanted! The dogs dont hate them and they keep their feet from sweating and irritation. I highly recommend!
make boots slip off
June 24, 2009
I ordered the liners thinking that this might make the boots more comfortable for my dog. However, this is secondary to the fact that the liners make the boots come off my dog's feet. I am trying a different size boot - this may help. Going from small to extra small. The boots run larger than you might think.
Excellent! Great Addition To The Boots!

Perfect fit and superb quality make the Ruff Wear Boot liners a must for cold conditions. Ads warmth and allows for easy on and off of the boots.Fast shipping!
Would not stay in place on dogs foot
May 26, 2010
Cute as they are, they did not seem to help the boots stay on any better. I like the idea, but they just bundle up in the toe of the dog boot, rendering them useless. MY border collie has small feet, runs and turns like the wind, and needs them to 'stay put'.
Dog boot liners
April 22, 2011
I think these are a wonderful product, they make putting on their boots a bit easier. It would be hard NOT to recommend this product or website to my loved ones. Thank you!!!Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
April 01, 2010
Purchased in case it would be more comfort for my dog with the Bark'n Boot shoes, which I really like. Did not fit my dog so I tried to give it to someone with a larger dog, but they returned it to me. they said it kept coming off so they returned it to me.
Great in conjuction with boots
January 25, 2010
I ordered 2 pairs of size L for our Golden who wears M boots. Easier to get boots on when using the liners, plus they are easily washed.Great for the snow and ice of the Midwest. Best price on the internet!
Greatn quality and my dog loves it!
May 15, 2009
This is perfect for my dog when he's hurt his paw because it keeps him from picking at his wound. Doesn't work too well with the shoes because it does not help the shoes to stay on.
Must have socks with the boots
May 10, 2009
The liners make using the boots much more comfortable for the dog and helps keep the boots snug.
Sock liners are great!
January 02, 2010
My dog takes size small boots on the back paws, & medium boots on the front, but is still not exactly either size. With the liners in place, they fit securely on all paws! Note - I originally bought size small liners, and they weren't tall enough and it was hard to keep them in place while putting the boot on. I just received the large size, which provide coverage beyond the top of the boot. Now I can hold the top of the liner firmly while putting the boot on, and the sock never slips too low. Odd that I'd need a large size liner for a dog who wears small/medium boots, but it works great! Awesome liners, for awesome boots (my dog has a paw injury, and these liner/boots helping her walk while outdoors, even though I originally bought them just for snow use!).
Good for my dog
February 05, 2010
The liners makes it easy to put the boots on and they complete the look. Our little corgi gets many complements on how cute the socks look with his boots. They keep his paws warm and dry here in Chicago during our cold winters. We recommend having two sets.
Great Boots, so so Liners
October 26, 2009
I bought these liners to go with the Bark'n Boots I bought for my dog. They won't fit her like they fit the average dog, since she is missing all the toes on her front, left paw. The boots work great for her, but the liners slide down into the boot, making it uncomfortable for her to use. I switched to baby/toddler socks & those work much better. Of course, so far, I've only used the liner & boot on the her toeless paw, so I can't speak as to how well they would work on a paw with all toes, but, I'm assuming they would stay up much better. Since the boots are great, I imagine, under normal circumstances, the liners work great too.
