Ruffwear The Beacon Dog Light

I am very pleased with these. They are a little large for small dogs but because they can clip on collars they don't drag on the ground. Very bright light!

I just started using this on my dog. So far it has been great. It makes it really easy to see her a night and it has withstood her rolling in mud puddles. I can't speak to the long term durability, but I am expecting the best.

I have used the older style (Lime Green) for 5+ years an was very happy with it. Two days ago I was in the mall an saw the newer style an thought I'd give it a try. One outting an I am very unhappy with the new style. 1-Did not fit on my collars has easy has older verson 2- when trying to remove from collar it came appart 3- parts went every where 4- gasket was a bit hard to get back on. I must say the extra brightness is good. But if the thing is not as durable or easy to use as the old verson I'll keep looking for the older style. I use a beacon everyday on my herding dogs as I gather cattle at night an I like to have a idea where my dogs are. The older lime green style has served me well in the past. With that said do you have any older style in stock?

Great light, if it stays on

This light is great- it is bright, has a couple different options regarding the frequency of the blinking, and seems to have a long battery life. I bought this light to go on a Ruff Wear jacket and it works great, but sometimes the light falls off when our dog is running through the woods going in and under fallen trees etc. It fell off once, and I noticed right away, but the second time I did not find it. I am ordering it again hoping to come up with a way to secure it on the loop better.

Being a morning runner this light is durable for what my dog can get up to and both its brightness and ease to fit makes it the best safety light i've seen

We've had this beacon for about 2 years. I just love it. I can clip it on my dogs' reflective safety straps, their halter, or their collar. Really visible. I've also worn these beacons on my own reflective safety strap #one beacon in the front, one in the back# when I go running. The beacon stays put. Ditto for when I ride my bike. Reflective gear is good, but adding a beacon is the best as it really helps out with visibility. This beacon is hardy and durable. It is easy to switch from slow blink to fast blink to constant. These beacons are easily and quickly removable from dog collar to reflective safety strap. After 2 years they are going strong, and worth the price. You can find cheaper beacons out there, but they aren't nearly as well made and won't last but a fraction of the life of a Ruffwear beacon. We've owned various Ruffwear products since 2007 and have been impressed with the quality of all of them.

I have tried many different lights and being a ruffwear fan I decided to pay up and try these. Best decision ever. Super durable and batteries last long , plus you can see the light from far.
