The Hex Polarized Photochromic sunglasses from Ryders are powered by the sun, while giving protection from its rays. Each Photochromic lens is infused with millions of organic molecules that react to UV light. When exposed to sunlight, the molecules change shape, absorbing sunlight and making the lens darker. When there is less sun, the opposite reaction takes place and the lens tint becomes lighter. They are also given a Polarized treatment to eliminate glare from horizontal surfaces. Optically correct and ideal for activities taking place over a prolonged time, the Throttle glasses keep your vision clear with optically-correct, shatterproof, scratch-resistant polycarbonate lenses that protect your eyes from sticks, dirt and 100% of UVA, UVB & UVC rays. The ultra lightweight Duraflex frames, with high-strength pinned hinges will survive the harshest treatment, and keep your sunglasses on your face with anti-slip, hydrophilic nose pads and/or temple tips that get tackier as you sweat.
