Excellent boots; fairly light and exceptionally warm.
Besides warmth, boots provide quite good traction - as good as anything I've owned in winter boots. I would suggest for comfort that one purchases a half size larger than normal shoe size, particularly if boot is to be worn with a heavier sock.

WOW! LIGHT and *&%$# WARM!
I think in one way I picked the wrong boot. For me the warmth is unbelievable. I don't typically need this much warmth, but we recently had a -30 windchill day and I was happy I had these on. I purchased the same boot for my wife (whose feet NEVER stay warm.) and she can't stop wearing nor raving about them. We are trying to convince all our friends to buy a pair. Salomon is our choice hands down. They are super light weight as well. Don't even know that they are on your feet.

just the right boot
These boots turned out to be the perfect boot for snowshoeing and other outdoor activities. I live in NY and they hold up great in the snow and keep the feet dry and warm.

Best boots ever!
These are the warmest boots I have ever owned. I am on my second pair. I work outside in Michigan and my feet stay dry and warm. I will never own any other brand of boots. Spend the money, they're worth it!

Great Boots!!
Great pair of boots! Very warm, and comfortable. I do a lot of my work outside, and they keep me warm and comfortable all day. I put them on when they arrived in the mail, just to try and break them in a little bit so I could wear them to work the next day, But these boots don't need to be broken in, just put them on and go!I would definitely buy another pair. Great pair of boots for the money.

Excellent
Great boots, very stylish and super warm! Definitely the warmest snow boots I've ever owned.I was in single digit weather for 10 hours,feet were toasty all day. Very impressive.

Awesome for everything
These boots took me through and unbelievable Holiday vacation in Bend OR. From hiking to snow shoeing, snow mobiling. These boot's were awesome. So comfortable that I even wore them our and about. Traction was great. Good mobility even for a 4 mile snow shoe trek.

These are 400 gram Thinsulate boots
Have only had these down to the low 20's with Bridgedale Summit socks and feet stayed warm. Anything less than that may be on the back side of the comfort curve. Haven't wore these at temps over 50 but feet never overheated as the boot breaths well. Waterproof at least up to the tongue. Coming in at 1.5lb each for size 10.5 these feel very lite on your feet. The toggle and lace pocket are a nice touch and do a good job of snuging up the boot. Overall I'm really satisfied with the B52.

Blizzard PROOF!!!!!
I have used my pair in the 3 consecutive Colorado blizzards of 06 and 07 and am anticipating another within seven days. Three plus feet of snow and ice with drifts over 15 feet and temperatures well below zero and wind chills in the sub -25 F. My feet were warm and cozy with no experience of perspiration. Traction on ice and snow was superior and footing was always very stable on all terrain. The lacing system is smooth, quick, and secure. If these are the conditions you are anticipating for your outdoor activites, then this boot demands your critical attention. OH, by the way I own pac, leather, vapor proof, insulated, and hiking boots with various tread designs and these boots are now my favorite all around boot.

Great Winter Boot!
I bought these boots for kicking around in the cold & snowshoeing. They are a very good looking boot that`s proven a comfortable fit for my wide feet and indeed warm. Loaded with 400 grams of thinsulate. We need alot more cold and snowy weather around here, because so far my feet have been very toasty. Very easy to tighten laces without taking your gloves off.

Warm and Cozy boots
I really like these snow boots. They fit great and look good with good cushioning on the ankle and warm insulation throughout. I have found the soles to have excellent traction on the snow. My feet are now the most comfortable part of my body when I am out in the freezing air tromping through the snow.

1st Pair of Snowboots!
This is a great boot. First pair I ordered was too small, so gave them to my girlfriend, who knows cold. Next pair I ordered a whole size bigger. Lightweight, cozy warm. Stayed dry on a heavy trec through snow.AND they look cool..

Good boot, a bit stiff
Boot is pretty comfortable, but a bit stiff for everyday type use. Feet stayed nice and comfortable when wearing in 65+ degree weather. Haven't tried them out in the snow yet, but looks like everything will be good. Only negative point is the tightening strings. They're not quite shoe strings and once you've tightened them up, the length is quite long and there's no easy way to store the extra length.
