Salomon's got you covered. The Cosmic 4D 2 GTX has a high cut profile for stability, support, and ankle protection. The lightweight, water-resistant nylon mesh upper is lined with a full waterproof bootie using the Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort Footwear membrane which prevents heat and moisture build up during warm conditions, while blocking all external water. The midsole and outsole technology comes right from the running world, but with improvements. The thermoplastic urethane midsole controls flex, reduces ankle strain, enhances stability and protects feet from rough terrain. And the non-marking Contagrip® outsole offers the perfect blend of reliable grip and durability over varied surfaces.
