Salomon Men's Karma Amphib Water Shoe

If you're tired of being scraped and bruised by lightly-lined water sandals, Salomon's padded Karma Amphib shoe is a plush and comfortable alternative. Even with the protective 3D Fit Padding, the Karma Amphib shoe facilitates fast drying within the confines of your kayak or open-cockpit day sailboat. Salomon added anti-debris mesh along the upper to keep any gooey gunk, tiny twigs and other floating flotsam away from your feet. Up top on the Karma Amphib you'll find Salomon's Quickfit™ lacing system. This shoe also features an adjustable heel strap with Salomon's patented Convertible Heel that quickly changes the Karma Amphib from a shoe to a slip-on clog. Along the bottom is a non-marking Water Contragrip outsole that eliminates the hassles of swabbing the decks after dark marring soled shoes.

Nice, light, airy and drains well.
A very nice shoe. Size is true. If you have a very wide forefoot these may be a little narrow. There's not a lot of cushioning in the insole so if you want a watershoe to do a lot of walking in get something more substantial. Overall though I'm very happy with mine.

Shoes were just as expected
Will be trying them out along the trails and beaches of Kauai, in April. This shoe will be great on wet rocky trails. Would definitely buy this brand again!

Exactly what I expected
This is an awesome shoe and I am anxious to try it out on vacation in Hawaii. We plan on doing a lot of hiking through mud, water and everything inbetween. This shoe is sure to meet our needs!

Nice, light, airy and drains well.
A very nice shoe. Size is true. If you have a very wide forefoot these may be a little narrow. There's not a lot of cushioning in the insole so if you want a watershoe to do a lot of walking in get something more substantial. Overall though I'm very happy with mine.

what a surprise
little skepticle about purchasing shoes on-line without trying them on. Couldn't have been more surprised. These water shoes are better than expected. Only wish they came in wide widths but no other brands do either so I will have to live with it.

Great Water Sport Shoe!
Just received these shoes and used them for a long weekend paddle -- shoes were very comfortable while paddling and provided great support during several short carries that were part of my route. As other reviewers have noted -- Salomon sizing runs "true" so no need to "size up or down".

A Great Multi-Purpose Shoe
This is my second pair of this type of shoe from Salomon. I originally purchased a pair of Tech Amphibian shoes over two years ago and basically wore them just about everywhere. The anti-bacterial insert really does work. Concerned with the possibility of obsolescence, I felt I needed to purchase another pair, so that when my Tech Amphibs wore out, I could have another pair. I expected the same performance of the Karma Amphib shoe and my expectations were exceeded. Being a little more comfortable, they are very rugged and so far have withstood the rigors of the various outdoor land and water activities in which I am engaged. The quick-pull lacing design and performance is one of the major reasons I have chose this and other Salomon shoes. The collapsible heel helps to make these shoes very easy for outdoor activities, e.g., camping, because they can slip on and off easily. Conversely, when the heel is secured, these shoes stay put. Salomon's sizing is consistent, such that I ordered the same size as with the Tech Amphibians and the shoes fit perfectly. Salomon knows and meets the needs of their market with regards to comfort, style, with special attention to functionality.

Great Shoe........Very Comfortable
This was a great purchase. I use the shoes for kayaking and they work out great. They dry fast and offer great traction. The biggest plus, they are extremely comfortable for water shoes. Most comfortable pair I've ever owned! I highly recommend.

Excellent
I purchased them for my husband to use on our vacation. He loved them - he was able to use them on all the water parks and attractions with my daughters. The wear and tear on them are exccellent. Will purchase from this comapny again.

Great Sports Shoe
I have had these shoes for a few months. I have worn them without socks and show no signs of blisters. The vents were fantastic WW rafting, fishing and in the rain forest in Costa Rica. If you do not mind sacrificing a little ankle support, these sport shoes are a fantastic buy and better then the other Salomon sport shoes b/c they drain out of the soles too!
