I hate ordering shoes through the mail because they never fit or feel right. Not so with these shoes. I ordered them just before leaving for Mexico and was afraid they would not fit right (as usual). But, to my surprise, I tried them on and they felt great. I have been wearing them daily now for a month or so and couldn't be happier.

I just bought my second pair of these shoes. I had the first ones for almost four years using them for all kind of activities, from water sports to hiking and daily summer use, in stead of sandals, which do not provide the same level of protection and stability. They are simply great, however the mesh and the loop is not that robust, but a replacement loop can be bought!

I love these shoes. I have neuropathy in my feet and take water aerobics five days per week to reduce the pain and try to lose weight. These shoes are very comfortable and don't slip in the pool. I highly recommend these shoes. True fit.

Since I was trying to pack light for a vacation, I was searching for a water shoe that would double as a sneaker. These look great with anything and I've worn them with slacks, jeans and bathing suits. The slick surfaces around the pools, boat deck, and coast line of the shore were easily handled by the superior traction the Techamphibian's provided. I highly recommend these.

Thanks for advice from Customer Service. Shoes were great. After hours in the saddle on the Continental Divide,dealing with rain,wet boots and cold these shoes were comfortable and light. Traction on rocky surface was excellent. Fishing in cold mountain streams demanded both traction and light/comfort. They dried out so quickly that by morning shoes were ready for camp chores.Can't say enough. Easy put on, on cold mornings with single pull of draw string. Heel adjust is a simple tug. I was looking for another pair of shoes and if not for customer service advice would have made a big mistake. Thanks!

I found these in the clearance bin by accident, I just couldn't pass on them. Now I love them! I wear them to the beach, biking, they do it all. I plan to take them to Spain later this summer as my ONLY shoes, when they wear out, I will buy another pair.

I've owned a pair for quite a while and now that they're getting thread-bare, I'm going to be purchasing another pair for sure. These shoes are so light in the water that even swimming is unhindered. Superb on-land traction and light-weight design makes these an essential spare shoe to keep clipped onto your pack. In regard to previous comments about the loop which is formed when the Quicktie is taut, it can be tucked into an elastic patch in the top of the tongue.
Don't pass these shoes up.

I bought the shoes for my husband, after buying a pair for my self elsewhere. He liked the design so much he thought he would try them on our upcoming
Christmas vacation in Oahu.He will use them for flyfishing from the lava shore. Also treking down the beach.

Great shoe...more fuctional that teva sandals. yet they have the cushioning of tevas. Provide more protection for your entire foot, compared to sandals. I use them for everything...work, gym, fly fishing, boating, etc etc. You cant go wrong with these shoes!!!!

I've worn these shoes in several adventure races with no problems. They drain exceptionally well when transitioning from water to land and stayed tight on my feet when running and mountain biking. Highly recommended, especially for the price.

Just noticed Bruce's comment about neding a place for the laces. There is a little pocket right on top to tuck in the laces. I didn't see that at first myself. We haven't tried them in water without socks, but with socks they look like regular tennis shoes, but are cooler on the feet.

Just returned from few weeks extreme rafting in Siberia. These are very comfortable from the start. They do leave some rough edges inside the toe ares so some type of socks are important. Traction on land is fantastic, probable best I've experienced for water shoes. Traction on submerged rocks is sketchy. I learned to take helping hands of the Russians on fordings. But they never said they had sticky rubber soles so I can't say much. The speed lace system is great but finding a place for the loop that forms is tricky. Tucking into the heel makes for painful walks. I worry about catching on anything if left out. Maybe a little pocket built-in would help. I was surprized how easily one came off when in the water but learned to keep the heel strap nice and snug. Hopefully I won't have the opportunity to test this again with the tighter heel. Bottom line: Great shoe that comes in extended sizes, supportive, great traction under most conditions and easy to put on and off. Recommend they add a little sticky on the sole and a cord pocket and maybe some smoothing of inside seams for bare feet (something I rarely do).

My husband started wearing these right out of the box and seems to love them. He has a hard time getting sandals and shoes to fit on the heel and the adjustable heel straps on these shoes help with that. He also likes and needs the toe protection. They were very easy to get on and off and run true to size. Had considered getting Keen water sandals but thought they looked dorky, but these look great on, with or without socks. Highly recommend these cool looking water shoes.

I'm on my second pair, and I couldn't be happier with a pair of outdoor shoes. I wear them in the desert (yes, I know they're water shoes) because of the superior cooling they offer. Sandals just don't cut it here in Arizona, especially out in the brush. Bottom line, just buy them - you won't regret it.

I wear these shoes launching kayaks off the beach and they keep the small rocks out from under my arch. for hiking i wear them with a thin pair of bike socks and they work out well.

The laces are futuristic, try them, if the laces break (as some people mentioned) JUST REPLACE THEM WITH "NORMAL LACES" The eyelets
lend themselfs well to normal, thin laces!!
