nice shorts but...

I like these shorts for their durability and light weight. They're breathable and they dry very quickly. The stitching on the back leg and side pockets looks great. And I like the pocket inside a pocket but would appreciate at least one pocket with a zipper closure. But there's not enough flexibility in the fabric. They're comfortable enough for walking but not for climbing or sitting, which can be a problem if you have a long drive to the TH. There is no give in the fabric, either in the waist or legs, and the fabric can get scratchy especially when wet. I think these shorts could be much improved by adding a little elastic to the fabric, adding a soft liner to the waist band for comfort under a pack, and adding at least one zippered pocket. The fit runs slightly small.
