dont want to take em off!

I got these boots a couple weeks ago and love them! I have worn them so much and have gotten so many compliments. They are perfect winter boot, very warm but without being bulky and awkward. They are the perfect boots for stylish outdoorsy women! I live in the Black Hills and it gets pretty cold in the winter here and we get plenty of snow and these boots are awesome for all that!

I Wanted to Love These . . .

When I pulled these boots out of the box, I was in love! The color, the details, the materials. But then I tried them on. I usually wear a size 7 in regular shoes, 7 1/2 in running shoes and boots. I'd heard that Salomon ran big so I ordered a 7. They were HUGE! I had my boss try them on and she usually wears an 8. They were still a little big in the length for her. Strangely, the fit across the top of the foot was really tight for both of us. I could tell they would be uncomfortable to wear for any length of time. The zippers were difficult to zip up. They kept getting caught on the lining inside the boot. The cute snaps on the sides wouldn't stay snapped. Unfortunately, I had to send them back. That said, Altrec's customer service was awesome! The day after I made this purchase, I found the exact same boot on sale at another site. When I called, they told me they would honor the cheaper price. I received a credit for the difference within a few days. I was stunned! I will definitely shop at this site again. You should, too.
